  • Publication number: 20240146554
Abstract: A method for tokenizing assets via a blockchain-to-blockchain bridge may include: receiving a first instruction from a client to mint first tokens for a client asset; encumbering the client asset on a custody ledger; creating a balance of the first tokens on a first distributed ledger; receiving a second instruction to lock and mint the first tokens to a second distributed ledger as second tokens; receiving verification from a custodian that the first tokens are locked on a lock ledger for the custodian; instructing a blockchain bridge computer program to mint second tokens to a client address on the second distributed ledger; receiving a third instruction to return the second tokens to the first distributed ledger; executing a public burn of the second tokens on the second distributed ledger; and instructing the custodian to unlock the first tokens and move the first tokens to the first distributed ledger.

  • Publication number: 20210216945
Abstract: A solution for provisioning a day planner system. A method is disclosed that includes processing enterprise data to identify action items having actionable tasks; processing user email data to identify priority emails and user mentioned emails; processing calendar data to identify upcoming meetings; assigning a time value to: a first task category involving action items, a second task category involving priority emails, a third task category involving user mentioned emails, and a fourth task category involving upcoming meetings; generating a user experience (UX) interface that displays: an overview showing time required to complete tasks and remaining production time for a current time period, and a thumbnail for each task category, each thumbnail having an associated time value and a number of tasks; monitoring user activities on the UX interface and, in response to the user completing a task from a task category, updating the overview and an associated thumbnail.

  • Publication number: 20180131785
Abstract: A gateway receives a response to a request from a server before that request is transmitted from the gateway to the server. The gateway is thus preloaded with the response even though the gateway has not issued a corresponding request to the server. Rather, the request was communicated to the server from a different gateway and the server preemptively sent the response to the gateway. Moreover, a server receives a first request from a first gateway representing an event generated from a first device. The server analyzes the request, generates a response, and transmits the generated response to the first gateway. The server also communicates the response to a second gateway upon determining that the event is applicable to a second device associated with the second gateway, the response being communicated to the second gateway before the second gateway transmits a second request representing the event to the server.

  • Publication number: 20180109678
Abstract: A process and corresponding system provide customer support services by receiving a support request from a user and analyzing context information in response to the support request. Customer support services are further provided by predicting a customer need based on the analyzed context information, and selecting a proper customer support representative device based on the predicted customer need. In response thereto, customer support services are further provided by transmitting automatically, from a server computer to a voice communication system, a request to initiate a voice-based connection between the user and a selected customer support representative.

  • Patent number: 9887813
Abstract: Information can transfer from a transmitter to a receiver; however, the transmission can consume valuable resources. Therefore, a number of times a transmission is attempted can be tracked and compared against a threshold value. If the transmission occurs too many times—based upon the comparison—then a reset can occur. Tracking can occur for a protocol data unit and/or a control protocol data unit to determine if a reset should occur.

  • Patent number: 7275025
Abstract: A method and system for analyzing performance of a turbine. The turbine optimizer allows a user to evaluate the current performance of their turbine with its current configuration and the future performance of their turbine with a modified configuration. The turbine optimizer determines the current performance characteristic of the turbine based on the current configuration information. Upon receiving from a user a request to display the future performance characteristics, the turbine optimizer calculates the performance characteristics for that turbine if various modifications are made to its configuration. The turbine optimizer may provide a graph that illustrates the current performance characteristics and future performance characteristics with those modifications. The turbine optimizer may also calculate various financial estimates based on the current operating characteristics or future operating characteristics of the turbine.

  • Publication number: 20060073393
Abstract: The present invention includes systems and compositions of holographic grating structures devices and methods for fabricating such holographic grating structures. The method comprises the steps of preparing a composite mixture comprising a polymerizable matrix, a liquid crystal, and a photo-oxidant dye, producing an interference pattern from two interference beams, wherein the two interference beams originate from a recording laser beam directed by a low energy laser, and projecting the interference pattern on the composite mixture to form a holographic grating structure. As described, the holographic grating structure yields a first-order diffraction efficiency of at least about 30% diffraction efficiency which may be adjusted by the application of an electric field.

  • Publication number: 20020107868
Abstract: A method and system for collecting RAM data from distributed locations is provided. The client-side component includes a collection component that provides various display pages for the entry of RAM data. After a user collects the RAM data, the user inputs the data using the collection component. Periodically, the client-side component transmits the collected RAM data to the server computer. In one embodiment, the collection system sends the RAM data from the client computers to the server computer via electronic mail messages. When the server-side component receives the RAM data, it validates the RAM data and, if valid, automatically stores the RAM data in a database.
