  • Publication number: 20250111131
Abstract: A method and a system for accessing a rich communication services (RCS) Business Messaging (RBM) agent is disclosed. The method employs a rich communication services person-to-application (RCSP2A) to receive RBM agent information comprising a chatbot_service_id, a chatbot_name, and a trigger_keyword of the RBM agent, and to create a person-to-application (P2A) deep-link for the RBM agent. The RCSP2A transmits the created P2A deep-link to a user. Upon the user clicking the P2A deep-link, if the user is an android user with a RCS enabled device, the RCSP2A initiates a chat with the RBM Agent specified by the chatbot_service_id and the chatbot_name in the intent: uniform resource identifier, with the trigger_keyword pre-populated. The user can one of start chatting or resume chatting with the RBM agent. The system comprises at least one processor, a non-transitory, computer-readable storage medium and the RCSP2A.

  • Patent number: 12167302
Abstract: A method and system employing a rich short message service application (RSAPP) for creating and transmitting a rich message are provided. The rich message includes a message and a brand identity. The RSAPP receives a request to send a short message service (SMS) message to a mobile number of a user (MNU). The RSAPP processes the request to send the SMS message and determines whether the MNU is enabled on one or more rich messaging channels (RMCs). Upon determining that the MNU is enabled on the RMCs, the RSAPP creates and transmits the rich message to the MNU on the enabled RMCs. Upon determining that the MNU is not enabled on the RMCs, the RSAPP confirms whether a setting specifies transmission of the received SMS message to the MNU as a SMS message if the MNU is not enabled on the RMCs. and the RSAPP transmits the received SMS message as a SMS message to the MNU.

  • Publication number: 20240396321
Abstract: Systems and methods for controlling energy provided from a battery to a system are disclosed. In some embodiments, the system comprises a voltage cutoff system, and the method comprises steps for operating the voltage cutoff system. In some embodiments, the method comprises receiving a signal associated with the battery's voltage and determining whether the signal is between two threshold voltages. In accordance with a determination that the signal is not between the two threshold voltages (e.g., indicating that the battery's voltage is out of an operating voltage range), the method comprises outputting a latched signal for controlling the battery. For example, the latched signal causes the battery to cease providing power to the system (e.g., cutoff). In some embodiments, in response to receiving an override input, the latched signal causes the battery to continue providing power to the system.

  • Publication number: 20240362970
Abstract: In accordance with some embodiments, an RFID-enabled table game system provides for determining whether there is a variance between an expected balance of inventory and an actual balance of inventory in a game element container. If a variance is detected, the RFID-enabled game system may identify at least one characteristic associated with an RFID-enabled game element that is determined to be a source of the variance (e.g., a player position at which the RFID-enabled game element had last been detected, a denomination or value of the game element, and/or an identifier associated with the game element). In some embodiments, an alert may be output to game provider personnel (e.g., a dealer of a card game) at the end of a game play when such a variance is detected, thus allowing the variance to be corrected in an efficient and timely manner.

  • Publication number: 20240234844
Abstract: A battery assembly can include a pair of batteries. The battery pair may be electrically coupled by a bimetallic strip. When the temperature of the battery assembly exceeds a threshold temperature, the bimetallic strip deforms so that the coupling between the first and second batteries breaks. In other cases, the battery pair may be coupled by a spring-loaded connector. A sacrificial block configured to melt if the temperature of the battery assembly increases beyond the threshold temperature may force the spring into an energy-storing configuration. When the sacrificial block melts, the spring is released, and the connector is forced in a direction away from the battery terminals. Finally, the battery assembly may include a thermopile and one or more relays. When a temperature gradient of the thermopile exceeds a threshold gradient, the thermopile generates a voltage that causes the relays to disconnect the battery assembly from a charging circuit.

  • Publication number: 20240205645
Abstract: A method and a system employing an expanded reach rich messaging application (ERRMA) for creating and transmitting a rich message or an equivalent rich message is provided. The ERRMA receives a request to send a rich message on a specified rich messaging channel (SRMC) to a user's mobile number. The ERRMA determines whether the user's mobile number is enabled for receiving rich messages on the SRMC. Upon a successful determination, the ERRMA creates and transmits the rich message on the SRMC to the user's mobile number. Upon an unsuccessful determination, the ERRMA determines whether the user's mobile number is enabled for receiving the rich message on an alternative rich messaging channel. Upon determining that the user's mobile number is enabled for receiving the rich message on the alternative rich messaging channel, the ERRMA creates and transmits the equivalent rich message on the alternative rich messaging channel to a user device.
