  • Patent number: 10405676
Abstract: An article supporting assembly includes at least one assembly base having a base panel and at least one elongated, generally vertical mount slot in the base panel. The mount slot has a pair of spaced-apart slot edges. At least one article support device is detachably carried by the assembly base. The at least one article support device includes at least one support device base positional between a release position and a locked position within the mount slot. A locking mechanism including a locking cam is provided on the support device base. The locking cam has a pair of opposite cam lock surfaces engaging the slot edges, respectively, of the mount slot in the locked position of the support device base and disengaging the slot edges, respectively, of the, mount slot in the release position of the support device base. At least one article support element for supporting at least one article such as clothing, a cell phone or a cup is supported by the support device base.

  • Publication number: 20170348520
Abstract: An electroceutical apparatus and self-care method for treating pain by providing Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) in combination with pulsed Ultrasound or Light Emitting Diode (LED) treatments. In some embodiments, the apparatus includes a pod unit and a controller, and wrap for holding the pod unit on an area of a user's body. In some embodiments, the wrap may include electrodes and the intensity of the TENS treatment may be adjusted by a user via the controller. In some embodiments, the frequency or output of the treatments is fixed and sequentially delivered to the user in a timed manner.

  • Patent number: 6894805
Abstract: A method and system to print selective pages of color images within a print job having a plurality of pages using selected color improvement options such as black overprint, anti-aliasing, and trapping. The system identifies and selects one or more pages within a single print job having a set of a plurality of pages and is able to apply a plurality of different color improvement operations upon printing pages having color images thereon. A user interface enables the assigning of a first color improvement operation to a first subset of pages within the single print job. A processor determines if the page being processed is a member of the first subset of pages that have the first color improvement assigned thereto and performs the first color improvement operation upon the image data associated with the page when it determines that the page being processed is a member of the first subset of pages that have the first color improvement assigned thereto.

  • Patent number: 6302522
Abstract: A method of determining whether a page to be printed on a color printer will actually be entirely printed in one colorant, usually black, and if so, automatically omitting whatever processing steps are unnecessary as a result. Determining if the page is monochrome can be done either by (1) including a signal in the PDL or by a signal from the user or by (2) inspecting each element of the page to determine if all elements are specified to be printed in the same one colorant. If either is true, then various color operations such as trapping, color conversion to any other color, and color correction for non-selected colors can be automatically omitted.

  • Patent number: 6155921
Abstract: An apparatus for extinguishing fires in enclosures having an air ramp with an automatic trap door. When the trap door is tripped, the air flow is reduced. Fires can be extinguished through the reduced air flow. The air ramp includes a center section having an upwardly ramped center area, a trap door which is moveably attached to the center area and a front section which is connected to the center section. The front section allows the air ramp to be mounted in an enclosure.

  • Patent number: 4810631
Abstract: A method for immunoassay for a ligand suspected to be present in a fluid includes use of an enzyme, a metal ion catalyst for an indicator reaction and a blocked modulator for the catalyst. Ligand present in the fluid binds to an antiligand. The resulting bound fraction activates the enzyme to unblock the modulator. The free modulator activates or inhibits the catalyst thereby modulating the rate of an indicator reaction between a substrate and a redox reagent. The presence of absence of the ligand in the fluid is indicated by a signal, such as a color change or a rate of color change, consequent to the indicator reaction. The invention includes a kit of materials useful for performing the method of the invention.
