Abstract: Embodiments of card removal apparatus include a substantially flat body and one or more ledges. The substantially flat body includes a bottom edge, a card contact surface adjacent the bottom edge, and a tab area that extends beyond the card contact surface. The one or more ledges are proximate to the bottom edge and extend above the card contact surface at an angle that is substantially perpendicular to the card contact surface. To utilize the card removal apparatus, a user slides an insertion edge of the card removal apparatus alongside a desired card until the ledge(s) snap into place along a bottom edge of the desired card, at which point the user may pull on the tab area to drag the card from the slot as it is supported by the ledge(s).
