  • Publication number: 20210012345
Abstract: A computer system for fraud detection associated with a card-not-present payment card system is provided. The system includes a network host site and an interchange network including a processor communicatively coupled to a memory device for storing data and to the network host site wherein the processor is programmed to receive a card transaction authorization request message from a merchant, route the card transaction authorization request to the network host site to perform CNP fraud risk scoring, and based on the criteria of the card transaction authorization request, call at least one of a plurality of fraud scoring models defined for criteria of the transaction authorization request. The processor is further programmed to calculate the fraud risk score based on the current transaction authorization request data and an updated card account profile, and transmit the message to an issuer of the payment card for approval of the request.

  • Publication number: 20150289090
Abstract: A system and method for automatically adjusting medical displays is arranged to communicate medical information to a caregiver. The system includes at least one display for displaying medical information, a wireless communication device associated with the display and a wireless communication device associated with the caregiver. The wireless communication device associated with the display is arranged to realize if the wireless communication device associated with the caregiver, and thus the caregiver, is present in a predetermined area near the display. A controller associated with the display is arranged to automatically adjust at least one characteristic of the display based upon the realized presence of the caregiver. According to the method, the presence of the caregiver is detected when the caregiver enters the predetermined area near the display. At lease one characteristic of the display is thus adjusted automatically based upon the detected presence of the caregiver in the predetermined area.

  • Publication number: 20060085398
Abstract: A system and method for augmenting presentation of patient-related medical information is provided. In one example, the medical information is displayed on a display according to predetermined formal display characteristics. A signal transmitter is operable by a caregiver to propagate a remote control signal when the caregiver desires to augment at least one of the predetermined formal display characteristics of the medical information. A receiver receives the remote control signal and control means are coupled to the receiver and control the display to augment the formal display characteristics of the medical information and thereby enhance the caregivers ability to view the medical information.
