  • Publication number: 20190022265
Abstract: The gel compositions as described herein, are less affected by changes in humidity, are readily formed into complex shapes, and can contain high loadings of the hydrophobic material, even when the material is not highly hydrophobic, and provide a more controlled release of the hydrophobic material.

  • Publication number: 20190022264
Abstract: The gel compositions as described herein, are less affected by changes in humidity, are readily formed into complex shapes, and can contain high loadings of the hydrophobic material, even when the material is not highly hydrophobic, and provide a more controlled release of the hydrophobic material. It is believed that the slow release is achieved by forming the gel to have a tight cross-linked network with small pore-size. The pore size is correlated to the average correlation length as measured using Small Angle X-Ray Scattering (SAXS). By limiting the average correlation length to less than 8 nm, preferably from 0.3 nm to 8 nm, more preferably from 0.3 nm to 4 nm, a long lasting release of the hydrophobic material is achieved, rather than a blooming effect, whereby the hydrophobic material is released in a short burst.

  • Patent number: 10154151
Abstract: According to the present invention there is provided a method of ensuring that all AF sessions for an IP-CAN session reach the same PCRF when more than one PCRF is deployed in an operator network. The method involves configuring a PCRF such that, upon receipt of a request relating to the establishment or modification of the IP-CAN session, the PCRF determines one or more Application Detection and Control (ADC) rules for identifying application messages associated with the IP-CAN session and that require that an address of the PCRF must be included in the identified AF session messages. The PCRF is further configured to provision the one or more ADC rules at an ADC node.

  • Patent number: 10149186
Abstract: Example embodiments presented herein are directed towards a Policy and Charging Rules Function (PCRF) node, a network node and a wireless device, as well as corresponding methods therein, for monitoring an ability of a wireless device to receive downlink data. The example embodiments presented herein provide a means of notifying an application server of when a wireless device is reachable. Thus, by knowing when the wireless device is reachable, the application server may avoid sending communication request to the wireless device when the device is unavailable. Thus, unnecessary signaling may be avoided.

  • Publication number: 20180249373
Abstract: Control of a maximum bit rate in a multi-access network scenario that includes a 3GPP access and a non-3GPP access. This maximum bit rate control is enforced in a wireless device having a first radio access and a second radio access to a communications network, the first radio access being a cellular communication access and the second radio access being a non-cellular communication access. The wireless device receives, via the first radio access or the second radio access, a Multi-Access User Equipment Aggregated Maximum Bit Rate, Multi-Access-UE-AMBR, value and/or a User Equipment Aggregated Maximum Bit Rate, UE-AMBR, value for the second radio access, and ensures that a bit rate of traffic generated by the wireless device and/or received by the wireless device does not surpass the received Multi-Access-UE-AMBR and/or said UE-AMBR value for the second radio access.

  • Patent number: 10063597
Abstract: Being aware of a loss of signalling bearer transport through an IP Connectivity Access Network is an important issue. Therefore, the present invention relies on amending the Policing and Charging Control model with means to provide the IMS infrastructure with subscriptions to and notifications about signalling session events detected on the signalling IP flow transported through the bearer layer. To this end, a P-CSCF, or AF included therein, is amended to allow the establishment of a signalling session for subscription to notification of bearer level events for a signalling IP flow. Apart from that, new processing rules are required at the AF and PCRF for handling the signalling session, the notification of events and the termination of the signalling session.
