Abstract: A method for displaying visual representation of at least one user interface, UI, of a process control system, the at least one UI being displayed on an electronic visual display unit connectable to the process control system and being adapted to visually indicate relationship between a plurality of components included in at least a part of a process controlled by the process control system, is disclosed. Data associated with different components in the process controlled by the process control system indicative of the operational status of the respective component is used to visualize the operational status of the components in each UI on the electronic visual display unit.

Abstract: A method of controlling an industrial system by a control system including a user interface having a main display arranged to provide a status view of at least a portion of the industrial system and a secondary display enabling user interaction with the industrial system and the main display. The method includes: receiving an alert concerning a status change in a part of the industrial system; displaying, on the secondary display, an alert object associated with the part of the industrial system generating the alert; detecting a selection of the alert object based on gesture-based user input; displaying the alert object on the main display; receiving an adjustment command of a parameter via gesture-based user input, the parameter being associated with the part of the industrial system generating the alert; adjusting the parameter based on the adjustment command; and controlling the part generating the alert based on the adjusted parameter.

Abstract: A method for notifying at least a first condition in an industrial system by way of a monitoring system in order to draw the attention of an operator monitoring the industrial system to the at least one condition. The method includes displaying the first condition in a first portion of a display screen of the monitoring system, determining by eye tracking an area where a user focuses on the display screen, the area where the user focuses differing from the first portion, and alerting the user of the first condition in order to allow the user to be notified of the first condition in the industrial system. A monitoring system is also presented herein.

Abstract: A method for monitoring an industrial process with a graphical user interface of an operator panel. The graphical user interface is adapted to change between a default mode in which it presents a plurality of objects related to the industrial process, and a user-adapted mode in which a subset of the plurality of objects is presented. The subset of objects is selected based on a parameter value which is associated with each object of the plurality of objects. The graphical user interface enters the user-adapted mode by the method determining whether a time of inactivity of the operator panel exceeds a threshold value, and, provided that the threshold value has been exceeded, removing those objects of the plurality of objects on the graphical user interface which are not included in the subset of objects.

Abstract: A method for enabling supervision and control of a technical system, the method being implemented in a supervisory control system including a display unit. The display unit displays an HMI display view over a process application of the technical system, the HMI display view including one or more graphical process objects representing physical process devices of the process application of the technical system. The method includes the steps of: providing on the HMI display view a visual reference; receiving input signals indicating, in the visual reference, a selection of one of the graphical process objects; and in response to receiving the input signals outputting, in the HMI display view, one or more lens views, each of the lens views corresponding to a particular type of information or functionality relating to the selected graphical process object. Abstract: A method of monitoring and controlling an industrial process associated with a plurality of process variables by means of a control system including displaying a set of process related images which are user-selected on a display device of the control system, each process related image of the set of process related images being associated with a process variable of the plurality of process variables; receiving process variable data of the plurality of process variables while the step of displaying is carried out, and when process variable data is received indicating that a process variable has a status value outside a predetermined accepted range; and displaying, on the display device, a process related image which is associated with the process variable with the status value outside the predetermined accepted range, receiving an input command for controlling the process variable, and controlling the process variable based on the input command.
