  • Publication number: 20260268669
Abstract: Systems and methods are described for displaying representations, such as icons, of subjects of a portion of content. Media data of content is analyzed during play and action signatures corresponding to each subject are identified. For example, one or more action signatures are associated with a subject, such as a person depicted in the content. One or more action signatures is stored, along with a play position of each action signature. Upon receiving a command, icons representing each of a number of subjects at or near the current play position are displayed. Upon receiving user selection of an icon, a portion of the content corresponding to an action signature associated with the subject may be played.

  • Publication number: 20260236535
Abstract: Systems and methods are described herein for generating a search query using flexible autocomplete suggestions. A text input is received, and a plurality of portions of the text input, each corresponding to a different search parameter, are identified. For each of the identified portions, at least one suggested alternate text is retrieved based on the corresponding attribute, and a user interface element is generated for display in which the original text of the respective portion is displayed, along with the suggested alternate texts for that portion, which are selectable by the user. Upon receiving selection of a suggested alternate text in at least one user interface element, a search query is generated based on each portion for which no alternate has been selected, and each selected alternate text. Search request are retrieved in response to the search query, and the results are generated for display to the user.

  • Publication number: 20260228277
Abstract: A search is performed based on a voice input combined with user selection of entities displayed on a display screen as well as real-world entities. A voice input is received from the user by a media device, as well as a selection of a first entity being displayed on the media device. A conjunction spoken in the voice input triggers the media device to wait for selection of a second entity before performing the search. After receiving selection of the second entity, a search query is constructed based on the voice input, the first entity, and the second entity. The search query is transmitted to a database and, in response, the media device receives at least one identifier of a least one content item. The at least one identifier is then generated for display to the user.

  • Patent number: 12671872
Abstract: During playback of a content item, a media signature corresponding to a first portion of the content item is identified. A number of media signatures representing portions of a plurality of other content items may have been previously identified and stored. Each stored media signature may also include an identifier of an associated content item and a timestamp corresponding to a position in the associated content item at which the signature is located. If it is determined that the identified media signature matches a stored media signature, a progress bar is generated for display comprising an identifier of the content item associated with the matching stored media signature, and a progress indicator corresponding to a timestamp associated with the stored media signature.

  • Publication number: 20260181214
Abstract: Systems and methods are described for managing presentation of content. A determination may be made, based on user information related to the current media asset, whether the presentation of the current media asset is not likely to be of interest to the user. In response to determining that the presentation of the current media asset is not likely to be of interest to the user, a selectable option may be presented to skip current content (e.g., advertisement content, or another currently presented media asset) and start presentation of a next media asset (e.g., a selected media asset, or a media asset similar to the current media asset).

  • Patent number: 12664781
Abstract: Systems and methods are described herein for displaying subjects of a portion of content and searching for content related to a particular subject in the content. Media data of content is analyzed during playback, and a number of action signatures are identified. Each action signature is associated with a particular subject within the content. The action signature is stored, along with a timestamp corresponding to a playback position at which the action signature begins, in association with an identifier of the particular subject. Upon receiving a command, icons representing each of a number of action signatures at or near the current playback position are displayed. Upon receiving user selection of an icon corresponding to a particular signature, a portion of the content corresponding to the action signature is played back or a search interface is displayed including autocomplete suggestions related to the subject of the signature.

  • Patent number: 12657247
Abstract: The systems and methods subjectively modify social media posts by receiving a version of a social media post from a sender, along with a list of target users, and generating one or more modified versions of the social media post based on the preferences of the target user. The system retrieves a plurality of the versions of the post and selects a version based on quality and other attributes. The selected version of the post is modified based on the target user's preferences. The system modifies text, images, or video of the post to generate one or more modified versions of the social media post. The system may determine the number of modifications made to a post being shared, and compare the number of modifications against a modifying threshold.

  • Publication number: 20260089360
Abstract: Presentation of content on a display device is adaptively modified based on the apparent size of a content area in which the content is presented. A distance between the first user and the display device is determined, as well as an actual size of the content area in which the content is being presented. Based on the distance and the actual size of the content area, an apparent size of the content area is calculated, and presentation of the content is modified based on the apparent size of the content area.

  • Publication number: 20260003428
Abstract: Systems and methods are described for extended reality environment interaction. An extended reality environment including an object is generated for display, and a table of eyelid motion identifiers and corresponding actions performable on the object in the extended reality environment is stored in memory. An eyelid motion is detected by using a sensor, and the detected eyelid motion is matched to one of the stored eyelid motion identifiers. An updated version of the extended reality environment, based on the action that corresponds to the matched eyelid motion, is generated for display, in response to matching the detected eyelid motion to one of the stored eyelid motion identifiers.

Abstract: Methods and systems for navigating content are provided. A method includes detecting an input to perform a content navigation operation in a display interface, the input designating a two-dimensional path in a content display interface. The method determines a forward or reverse direction for the content navigation operation and receives an input indicating the two-dimensional path within the content display interface. The length of the path is determined and the content is navigated based upon the determined direction and length of the two-dimensional path. A system comprising input circuitry configured to detect an input to perform a content navigation operation on a content, and a control circuitry programmed and configured for implementing the method is also provided.
