  • Publication number: 20240370782
Abstract: A method is provided for host management in an online marketplace. The method includes obtaining a property listing listed on the online marketplace. The method may also include providing a host management graphical user interface for managing co-hosts. If the property listing is associated with one or more co-hosts, the method includes displaying host detail affordances. In response to detecting a user selecting a host detail affordance corresponding to a co-host, the method includes displaying permissions, payouts, and activity log, for the co-host. If the property listing is not associated with co-hosts, the method includes displaying a co-host add option to add a co-host for the property listing. The method may also include, in response to detecting an input from the user, to select the co-host add option, allowing the user to specify a new co-host and associating the new co-host with the property listing.

  • Patent number: 10417009
Abstract: Fast computer startup is provided by, upon receipt of a shutdown command, recording state information representing a target state. In this target state, the computing device may have closed all user sessions, such that no user state information is included in the target state. However, the operating system may still be executing. In response to a command to startup the computer, this target state may be quickly reestablished from the recorded target state information. Portions of a startup sequence may be performed to complete the startup process, including establishing user state. To protect user expectations despite changes in response to a shutdown command, creation and use of the file holding the recorded state information may be conditional on dynamically determined events. Also, user and programmatic interfaces may provide options to override creation or use of the recorded state information.

  • Publication number: 20170091303
Abstract: In an embodiment, a system includes a processor that includes at least a first core that includes collection logic to record a history of website accesses of a plurality of websites by a user. The first core also includes classification logic to assign the website accesses to corresponding categories by application of a plurality of models, where each model corresponds to a respective category, and to determine a classification summary that includes a plurality of category metrics, each category metric associated with the respective category, each category metric based on a corresponding measure of the website accesses within the respective category. The classification summary suppresses a corresponding identity of each website accessed. The system also includes a nonvolatile memory coupled to the processor. Other embodiments are described and claimed.
