Abstract: A method performed by a digital camera includes calculating brightness of image data captured by an imaging device; determining whether the brightness of the image data is within a valid range for controlling a set exposure value of the imaging device; changing the set exposure value for each frame until the brightness of the image data becomes within the valid range, based on a difference between a first exposure value corresponding to a lower limit of the valid range and a second exposure value corresponding to an upper limit of the valid range; and after the brightness of the image data becomes within the valid range, controlling the set exposure value based on the brightness of the image data within the valid range and a valid exposure value corresponding to the brightness of the image data within the valid range.

Abstract: A fluid reservoir for supplying fluid to a master cylinder arranged in hydraulic system of an automotive vehicle comprises a reservoir tank having at least one fluid chamber therein and is provided at lower portion thereof with at least one outlet which is offset from a center of the fluid chamber and supplies fluid within the fluid chamber to the master cylinder. The fluid chamber is divided by partition wall into larger and smaller chambers the latter of which is in free fluid communication with the outlet and is in free fluid communication at top thereof with the larger chamber. The smaller chamber is much smaller than larger chamber in both longitudinal and transverse directions of the vehicle. The partition wall is provided with a passage for establishing a restricted normal fluid communication between the larger and smaller chambers.

Abstract: A hydraulic fluid reservoir for automobile including a plurality of fluid chambers separated by a partition, the fluid chambers being communicated with hydraulic systems in the automobile respectively, and a baffle plate between the upper end of the partition and an inlet at the upper portion of a reservoir body to define openings of the respective fluid chambers at predetermined ratios which define the flow rates of fluid into respective fluid chambers.

Abstract: A hydraulic fluid reservoir for automobile including a partition wall within a reservoir casing defining a float chamber and extending from the bottom of the reservoir casing, a float which is movable in said float chamber so as to cause a switch to close or open at a predetermined float level, a communication opening communicating the float chamber with the outside chamber of the partition wall at the lower portion thereof and a fluid reflection cover disposed on the float chamber, malfunction of the level detector is avoided.
