  • Patent number: 7984739
Abstract: It is intended to provide a method of producing thermally fused synthetic resin members for medical use which makes it possible that, in the case of thermally fusing synthetic resin members for medical use, for example, a relatively soft thermoplastic tube constituting an AVF needle with another part being harder than the tube such as a needle base (hub) of a wing needle, or a part provided with a fitting connector being harder than the tube (for example, a blood circuit, an extension tube, an infusion set or the like), the connecting parts of the thermoplastic tube member and the other member harder than the thermoplastic tube member can be quickly and uniformly thermal-fused and the production process can be automatically and continuously performed while keeping a high productivity; and a production apparatus therefor.

  • Patent number: 7306576
Abstract: In a medical needle device having a shield for reduction of needlestick injuries, a protrusion is formed on an outer peripheral surface of a hub to which a needle is mounted, a height of the protrusion being set so that the protrusion protrudes beyond an inner diameter of a shield tube, and a gate groove is formed at an inner surface of the shield tube to extend from a front end to the vicinity of a rear end, dimensions of the gate groove being such that the protrusion can fit in a front end portion of the gate groove. In a state where the protrusion is exposed from the front end of the shield tube, the hub can rotate with respect to the shield tube. At a rotational position of the protrusion at which it does not face a front end of the gate groove, a position of the hub is limited so as not to move toward a rear end side of the shield tube due to engagement of the protrusion with a front end face of the shield tube.

  • Publication number: 20070088283
Abstract: A medical syringe comprising a cylindrical connection supporting member increasing the holding force of a lure inserted into a connection target. The connection supporting member is formed to be slid along the lure or a syringe body part in a state of being movable between a first position near a tip of the lure and a second position away from a tip of the lure. The syringe is characterized in that, when the connection supporting member is moved to the second position, the tip of the lure is exposed.

  • Publication number: 20060276750
Abstract: The medical needle device includes a winged shield (4) that has a substantially cylindrical shield tube (4a) and a pair of wings (5, 6) positioned at a front end side of the shield tube, a hub (2) that is inserted into an inner bore of the shield tube so as to be movable in an axial direction, and a needle (1) that is mounted to a front end of the hub. An infusion tube (3) can be attached to a rear end of the hub, and a tip of the needle can be stored in the inner bore of the shield tube. The shield tube is bendable at least in a part along the axial direction when the needle protrudes from a front end of the shield tube and is latched to the shield tube. Thereby, the medical needle device is bendable in a curve in a position that is sufficiently close to the needle, while having the winged shield.
