  • Patent number: 6969459
Abstract: A processing apparatus and an operating method of the processing apparatus, in which a water insoluble oil homogeneous to a water insoluble oil (processing oil) used for a mist-lubrication in a processing site on a work is used as a lubricating oil for a lubrication section of a processing machine, an aqueous solution is used as a cleaning liquid for cleaning the work after having been processed, and then a used processing oil and a used cleaning liquid are recovered and separated and further the separated processing oil and cleaning liquid are circulated into respective supply means, so that the used processing oil may be recovered and reused even if the lubricating oil is mixed into the processing oil since both are homogeneous oil and further the used cleaning liquid and the used processing oil can be surely separated from each other and reused, which allows to reduce an amount of waste as well as to reduce the cost.

  • Patent number: 4927314
Abstract: An engine valve feed apparatus which feeds engine valves to a valve handling apparatus at a valve pick-up station where the valve handling apparatus picks up and fits the engine valves to an engine cylinder head one after another. The apparatus comprises a valve hanger plate formed with a number of valve holes for tightly receiving a number of engine valves to hang the engine valves upside down. A hanger plate transfer unit transfers a number of the valve hanger plates to the valve pick-up station cone after another. An engine valve thrust-up unit is disposed at the valve pick-up station for thrusting up the valves from the valve hanger plate at the valve pick-up station so as to allow the valve handling apparatus to hold a stem of each of the engine valves. The engine valve thrust-up unit has a holding member movable up and down and formed with a number of positioning holes for receiving the stem ends of the engine valves hung from the valve hanger plate to thereby hold the valves upright when moved up.

  • Patent number: 4278935
Abstract: An improved electrode assembly for an electrostatic type moisture meter for powdery or granular material includes an insulator, a high-tension electrode in the form of a stick mounted on the insulator so as to vertically extend therefrom, and a plurality of earth electrodes in the form of sticks arranged around and in parallel with the high-tension electrodes. The high-tension electrode has a protection insulator at the tip thereof. The insulator has air-emitting openings for emitting air therefrom to the base portion of the electrodes to remove the material remaining at the base portion of the electrodes after a measurement. The insulator preferably has an outer face sloped at its periphery.

  • Patent number: 4199254
Abstract: The accuracy of an optical measuring system is improved by directing a parallel light beam across the surface of a moving object in a direction perpendicular to the direction of movement so that movement of the object in the direction of the light beam will not affect the measurement accuracy. For measurement purposes, the silhouette of the object can be roughened by coating with an easily removable foreign substance such as wheat flour.
