  • Patent number: 5328344
Abstract: The rotary compressor is constructed such that two oil cooler pipes are arranged in the vicinity of two compressing elements located at the opposite ends of an electrically driving element. With this construction, cooling performances of the rotary compressor can be doubled. In addition, since the two oil cooler pipes and two heat exchangers are connected to each other in series, there does not arise a necessity for enlarging a volume of the rotary compressor by increasing a diameter of the same. Alternatively, the rotary compressor may include a cooler pipe for conducting refrigerant to an oil cooler pipe and a fan for simultaneously forcibly cooling an enclosed vessel and the cooler pipe. In this case, since the temperature of refrigerant gas to flow into the oil cooler pipe can be lowered, the lubricant can be cooled at a high efficiency.

  • Patent number: 5326233
Abstract: An enclosed motor compressor of a two cylinder type in which a clearance between the eccentric portion of the second rotary shaft and the second sub bearing is set greater than a clearance between the eccentric portion of the first rotary shaft and the first main bearing, and also there is formed a clearance between the eccentric portion of the second rotary shaft and the second main bearing, so that, even when the second rotary shaft moves in the axial direction thereof, there is eliminated the possibility that the eccentric portion of the second rotary shaft can be in touch with the second main bearing and second sub bearing in the axial direction, thereby being able to reduce noise. Also, the pair of main bearings further include, on the side of the compression elements, assembling jig mounting portions to which the assembling jig can be mounted.

  • Patent number: 4704076
Abstract: An oil hole is formed in a thrust-bearing surface in the eccentric part of a rotary shaft so that a given amount of lubricating oil is always maintained in the oil hole, whereby shortage of oil does not occur at the time of restarting of the rotary compressor after a long term pause of the operation.

  • Patent number: 4560329
Abstract: A strainer device for a rotary type compressor includes a rolling piston which rotates with rotation of a rotational shaft, a cylinder plate provided in correspondence to the direction of the outer periphery of the rolling piston, a pair of side plates supporting the rotational shaft, and disposed on both side surfaces of the cylinder plate to define a compression chamber. A suction pipe passes through a shell housing with one end thereof being connected with a suction port formed in one of the side plates to introduce intake gas. A communication path leads the intake gas from the suction port to the compression chamber and a strainer removes foreign substances contained in the intake gas, the strainer being provided in a path formed in the cylinder plate or the side plate, not in the suction pipe, through which the intake gas flows.
