    Abstract: A printing apparatus receives, from an information processing apparatus, a request for a list of print jobs, from among print jobs that are on hold, that have entered a printable state, detects, from among the print jobs that are on hold, print jobs that were sent from the information processing apparatus and that have entered the printable state, and sends the list of detected print jobs to the information processing apparatus. The information processing apparatus requests a list of print jobs, from among the print jobs that are on hold, that have entered the printable state, acquires the list sent from the printing apparatus, and determines whether to print selected print jobs indicated in the acquired list or all of the print jobs indicated in the acquired list.
