    Abstract: A method of coating an aluminum surface in which the aluminum surface is initially roughened. Enamel containing borosilicate frit is then coated discontinuously on the roughened aluminum surface so that it covers 20 to 60% of the surface and is baked. A first fluorocarbon resin coating is then placed on the enamel and dried. A second fluorocarbon resin coating is then placed over the first coating and baked.
