Abstract: This invention relates to an apparatus comprising a double walled container in which a heat regenerating agent is sealed, a heat insulating ring mounted on the upper periphery of said double walled container, a supporting shoulder located on the external periphery of said heat insulating ring, an engaging portion located at the lower periphery of said supporting shoulder, and a mating portion located on a cover for detachably mounting in engageable mating portion provided in a handle projecting from said external case.

Abstract: An apparatus for making frozen confections including a double-walled vessel consisting of a concentric cylindrical inner and outer vessels each having an upper open end and defining an annular space therebetween for containing a cooling material. The said double-walled vessel is secured in a larger vessel, the bottom of which is supplied with driving means. A carrying means is rotatably mounted on said driving means and the double-walled vessel is mounted thereon and is rotated thereby. Said receptacle and said double-walled vessel is closed by a cover, the underside of which carries fixed paddles. When the cover is in place, the paddles extend into the inner vessel and remains stationary as the double-walled vessel is rotated.

Abstract: The device for making frozen confections such as ice cream comprises a double-walled cylindrical vessel having an upper open end and a closed bottom and consisting of a thin aluminum inner vessel member and a thin aluminum outer vessel member with the upper ends thereof hermetically sealingly curled together, the space between the inner and the outer vessel member being filled with a cold keeping agent, an outer receptacle for receiving and supporting the vessel therein with a clearance or heat insulating material provided therebetween, a cover member adapted to engage at its periphery with a ring attached to the upper edge of the double-walled vessel and/or the outer receptacle, and a stirring means extending into the interior of the vessel through a bearing hole formed at the center of the cover member.
