  • Publication number: 20130269015
Abstract: Related information successively outputting and providing methods and apparatus are disclosed wherein the processing load to a related information successively providing apparatus upon provision of content related information can be reduced significantly. The outputting apparatus selects content identification information set as a successive output object in a list included in page information acquired from the providing apparatus as noticed content information, and acquires content related information coordinated with the selected content identification from the providing apparatus. The outputting apparatus outputs the acquired content related information and detects an end of the outputting. When an end of the outputting is detected, the selection of noticed content information, acquisition and outputting of related information and detection of an end of outputting are successively executed again.

  • Patent number: 7890580
Abstract: To further correctly obtain related information about contents being received from a server. A communication apparatus 1 successively transmits request information that requests related information about contents being received via a network 30, at specified intervals (S1), receives related information corresponding to that request information (S2), temporarily stores (S3), displays it (S4), and performs contents updating processing. Here, if a direction to store the related information about the contents is entered, the communication apparatus 1 requests again request information for related information about contents, separately from the contents updating processing (S10). Then, the communication apparatus 1 receives related information corresponding to that request information (S11), and stores it (S13). This enables the latest related information to be further correctly obtained out of related information concerning contents, and obtaining related information before updating is reduced.

  • Patent number: 7761513
Abstract: Information items related to a plurality of musical pieces designated can be stored at a time. A storage means 1a can hold the information items related to contents. A receiving means 1b receives information items related to a plurality of contents broadcast. A temporary storage means 1c stores the information items 4 related to the contents, for some time. An instructing means 1d instructs that the related information items stored in the temporary storage means 1c be recorded in the storage means 1a. When instructed by the instructing means 1d, the recording means 1e records the related information items 5a stored in the temporary storage means 1c, as one set 5, in the storage means 1a. At the same time, the recording means 1e records in the storage means 1a the name of this set, in association with the set 5. The related information items can therefore be recorded in accordance with a single instruction.

  • Patent number: 7756993
Abstract: A reproducing apparatus and method is provided. The reproducing apparatus includes a detection device, a list preparation device, and a reproduction device. The detection device is configured to detect acquisition of first page information. The list preparation device is configured to prepare a list of content identification information collected at least from the first page information and from second page information linked from the first page information when the detection device detects the acquisition of the first page information, the content identification information being such as to indicate where streaming content data is availably located. The reproduction device is configured to reproduce the streaming content data upon acquisition, the streaming content data corresponding to the content identification information in the list prepared by the list preparation device.
