  • Publication number: 20210279457
Abstract: Digital handwriting synthesis techniques and systems are described that are configured to process text represented using text fields into one or more digital ink strokes to represent the text as handwritten data when rendered in a user interface of a computing device. Additionally, the digital handwriting synthesis techniques are configurable using normalization parameters to adjust an output from a machine learning model such that these techniques are extensible across a wide range of machine learning models and may be used to support a wide range of different digital ink styles. Further, the techniques described herein also support customization via “few shot conditioning” in which the digital ink styles may be further customized based on a user input and in this way support previously unseen digital ink styles.

  • Patent number: 11080330
Abstract: Navigation data generation techniques and systems are described to address the complexities of digital content and that overcome the challenges of the conventional techniques. In one example, digital content is received by a flow graph system and used to generate a flow graph that models functionality available via the digital content as graph nodes and connections between the functions as edges between the graph nodes based on a markup language of the digital content. Each of the graph nodes includes a respective utterance that describes functionality available via that node and thus is usable to locate this functionality using semantic similarity to an input query. The flow graph is used as a basis to generate navigation data.

  • Patent number: 11080629
Abstract: A computer-implemented technique is described herein for receiving activity signals from plural logic components running on one or more computing devices. Each activity signal includes an activity information item (AII) that describes an activity performed by a subject (e.g., a user), or to be performed by the subject, as recorded by a logic component. The technique stores AIIs extracted from the activity signals in a graph data structure. The technique then: determines, by interrogating the graph data structure, one or more activity clusters within a span of time, each activity cluster pertaining to a group of AIIs associated with a same encompassing project; generates one or more summary documents based on the identified activity cluster(s); and sends the summary documents to an output device.

  • Patent number: 11059416
Abstract: An electrochromic adaptive driving beam system for a vehicle includes a vehicle headlamp, a high-beam light source, and a low-beam light source. The vehicle headlamp includes an electrochromic material that covers the high-beam light source attached to the vehicle headlamp. The low-beam light source is uncovered by the electrochromic material of the vehicle headlamp. The electrochromic material is transparent to transmit light projected from the high-beam light source and changes opacity to reduce glare projected from the high-beam light source through the vehicle headlamp in response to a voltage.

  • Publication number: 20210209582
Abstract: The Present Invention focuses on performing banking operation at kiosk unit (an ATM) without the use of conventional physical smart cards. A special type of card called a Virtual Smart Card (V.S.C) is deployed by the bank authority which is portable on any smart device which a user possesses and this V.S.C is such that it can be only accessed in the presence of an interface provided by the bank authority. We later depict as of how a V.S.C can emulate normal physical smart cards for performing banking operation and also as of how this V.S.C can be used for making payment to merchants or on the websites when user desires. A special type of V.S.C and interface called merchant V.S.C and S-interface is provided to merchants by the bank authority such that it can be deployed easily on multiple devices such that multiple agents working under a merchant can use it for collecting payment.

  • Patent number: 10887727
Abstract: A computer-implemented technique is described herein for detecting work-related visits. The technique includes receiving movement data from one or more movement-sensing mechanisms associated with a local computing device carried by a user. The technique further includes: determining, using a state machine, and based on the movement data, that a user has commenced a candidate visit, the candidate visit being described by visit data; determining, using the state machine, and based on the movement data, that the user has completed the candidate visit; and determining, using a context-determining component, and based on the visit data, whether the candidate visit corresponds to a work-related visit for which work has been completed. The technique further includes mechanisms that allow the user to add a content item to the visit data of an ongoing visit, prevent private data from leaving the local computing device, and efficiently consume power of the local computing device.

  • Patent number: 10747899
Abstract: Techniques to determine if an individual is a member of an ensemble contributing to combined genomic data include determining a site frequency spectrum (SFS) for alleles in the combined genomic data, and a number N of individuals contributing to the combined genomic data. Based on the SFS and N, both a number of queries NQ and a number of yeses NY are determined. NY is a number of yes responses to NQ queries, which indicates a particular likelihood that the individual is a member of the ensemble. Output is based on at least one of NQ and NY. For example, fewer than NQ queries from a single source are answered from a beacon. Alternatively, the likelihood that an individual is a member of the ensemble is determined based on responses to NQ queries about NQ different alleles present in the individual and NY.
