    Abstract: A first connecting element is used in combination with a second connecting element and comprises mounting equipment for mounting the first connecting element in an environment, a base body, two opposite hook members, each provided with a hook edge for engagement behind two respective directly opposed second hook edges forming part of the second connecting element, which two hook edges are positioned directly opposite each other, facing away from each other. The hook members are movable towards each other against a first spring force and, on account of the first spring force, away from each other between a connecting position and a disconnecting position. The connecting element further comprises a stop surface for abutment, in the connecting position, under a second spring force against a second stop surface which forms part of the second connecting element and which is directed towards the second hook edges.
