Abstract: A bowler performance tracking system monitors at least one of a number of steps in an approach, a maximum rearward angle attained by a bowling ball during the approach, a release angle of the bowling ball upon release by a bowler onto a bowling lane, a ball speed, an arm speed, a ball trajectory, and bowler scores during a bowling game. The system includes a wearable performance tracking device dimensioned and configured to be worn by the bowler and having a housing assembly with a motion sensor camera unit mounted therein. A digital display assembly is disposed on the housing assembly and is visible to the bowler. A control assembly includes a data storage unit configured to store an amount of data, and the control assembly also has a display interface operable with the digital display assembly to cause at least one display parameter to be displayed thereon.
