  • Patent number: 11180710
Abstract: A lubricant composition is provided containing an oil of lubricating viscosity and a substantially sulfur-free alkyl phosphate amine salt, where at least 30 mole percent of the phosphorus atoms are in an alkyl pyrophosphate salt structure, along with either or both of a conventional phosphorous containing antiwear additive and a glycerol ester. In the phosphate amine salt, at least 80 mole percent of the alkyl groups are typically secondary alkyl groups of 3 to 12 carbon atoms. A method of improving wear over a wide temperature range in a mechanical device is also provided by employing the lubricant composition.

  • Publication number: 20180312775
Abstract: A lubricant composition of 40 to 95% of an oil having a kinematic viscosity at 100° C. of 3 to 7.5; 0.3 to 2% of an amine salt of a phosphorus compound obtained by reacting phosphorus pentasulfide with one or more alcohols having 4 to about 13, or 4 to 8, or 6, carbon atoms, with an alkylene oxide, and further with phosphorus pentoxide, and salting the resulting material with one or more amines having 2 to 20 or 12 to 24 carbon atoms; and an active-sulfur containing agent in an amount to provide 0.5 to 7% sulfur to the composition provides good wear protection to gears at a relatively low viscosity of the composition.

  • Publication number: 20040217449
Abstract: An electronic component package and a method of forming the package are disclosed. The package includes a die having a top face with set of contacts and a substrate having a cutout therein. The die may include a memory component and may include SDRAM. The substrate is mounted on the top face, and the cutout overlays the set of contacts. Wire leads extend from the set of contacts, at least partially through the cutout, to the substrate. The set of contacts may be positioned along a central region of the die, and the cutout overlays the central region. The wire leads extend to the substrate and may contact the substrate proximate to the cutout. The package may further include a set of electrical paths extending from the wire leads through the substrate for providing communicative path between the die and an external component.
