  • Patent number: 10983189
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for determining a position of a terminal device (110) in a wireless communication system (100). According to the method, a first message (130-133) is broadcasted by the terminal device (110). The first message (130-133) comprises a positioning request and a terminal identifier identifying the terminal device (110). The first message (130-133) is received at a group of neighboring devices (120-123). Each neighboring device of the group of neighboring devices (120-123) is located within a wireless radio communication range of the terminal device (110). From one or more neighboring devices (120, 121) of the group of neighboring devices (120-123) a corresponding second message (140, 141) is transmitted to location server (103) of the wireless communication system (100). The second message (140, 141) comprises the terminal identifier and an indication that the terminal device (110) requested a positioning.

  • Publication number: 20200404562
Abstract: Determining whether service via a core network of the first type is available from the second cell. The method further comprises establishing a connection via the second cell by transmitting a message including a first indication, the first indication based on at least a portion of the identifier, and when service via a core network of the first type is not available from the second cell, transmitting in the message a second indication, the second indication indicating that the identifier was received from a core network different from the second type, without identifying the first type of core network.

  • Publication number: 20190028917
Abstract: In response to a need for communication of uplink data on the radio link of a wireless network between a terminal and a node, participation in a setup procedure for establishing a data connection on the radio link takes place. A first control message indicative of a delay requirement of the uplink data is communicated during the setup procedure. During the setup procedure and in response to said communicating of the first control message, a second control message is selectively communicated which rejects the data connection.

  • Patent number: 8739258
Abstract: A wireless communication device provides a method of certificate-based access control. Particularly, the device establishes a secure communications session with a device management server. • Patent number: 8438246
Abstract: A Device Management system includes a device management server used by a network operator to manage one or more mobile devices operating in a wireless communications network. The device management server provides the mobile devices with Representational State Transfer (REST) commands to be executed by the mobile devices. The REST commands identify a location of one or more files on a network server that, when executed by the mobile devices, allows the devices to retrieve the files from the server, or directly from a data storage system accessible to the mobile device. The device management server may also provide the mobile devices with REST commands that allow the mobile devices to upload and store their files and information onto the network server at the specified location.
