  • Publication number: 20230218977
Abstract: The invention is directed to a ski pole comprising a longitudinal shaft. The shaft includes a cross-section that comprises: a first part including a curved first portion arranged symmetric about a cross-sectional centerline (CL) of the shaft, and a second part including a second portion arranged symmetric about the cross-sectional centerline. Wherein the first part is connected to the second part by side parts including side portions, each side part comprises a first end connected to an end of the first part and a second end connected to an end of the second par, each connection between the side parts and the first and second parts forms a corner, such that there are total four corners in the cross-section of the shaft.

  • Publication number: 20150251077
Abstract: A pole handle (1) is arranged with a strap (2) which is accommodated in an attachment recess in a looped shaped manner for the fastening of the strap to the pole handle. The strap extends out from the attachment recess (4) which is arranged in the pole handle and forms a wrist loop to be arranged around a users wrist. The which wrist loop is provided with adjustment and locking means for regulating the size of the wrist loop and maintaining the chosen size of the wrist loop. A portion of the strap (2) is allowed to move through the attachment recess (4) when the size of the wrist loop is adjusted and when the adjustment and locking means is repositioned relative to the pool handle. The invention also includes a ski pole arranged with the pole handle and a method for adjusting the size of a wrist loop.

  • Publication number: 20140367952
Abstract: A hand strap (1) comprises a flexible hand-supporting strap body (3) having first and second ends (7a, 7b) configured for connection to a handle (2) of a skiing pole or similar. A flexible support member (4) extends from a branching region (4a) on the body (3) and has a free end (4b), and comprises an adjustable locking device (5a-e, 6b; 12a, b) configured for releasably securing the free end (4b) to a securing portion (10) of the body (3). The body optionally comprises a central first support region (8) located between the fist and second ends; said first support region being configured for supporting a lower part (H1) of the hand. The strap comprises an elastic set aiming element (19) arranged in a region of the flexible support member at the outer side of the strap turning away from the user's hand.
