Abstract: The invention relates to a device having an orifice covered by an optical device (3), which is to be prevented from being dirtied. For that reason the device comprises a housing (1), in which a ring-shaped socket (2) supporting the optical device is rotatably journalled by means of a bearing arranged around the periphery of a socket (2). Moreover, the socket (2) is provided with a rim turbine blades (8) against which one or more jets of pressure air from nozzles (10, 11) in the housing (1) are directed.

Abstract: The invention relates to a holding and handling device of a syringe, which comprises a handle (1), a holding portion (2), two parallel guiding rods (3) rigidly linking the handle and the holding portion, and a gripping member (10) slidably axially mounted between both guiding rods and turning on itself around its central axia. A fixing plate (7) having a central opening is displaceably mounted parallel to the upper surface of the supporting plate (4) and is subjected to the action of springs (8) leading to maintain this fixing plate into contact with said supporting plate, in such a manner that in service position the peripheral edge (13') of the cylindrical body (13) of the syringe is maintained by jamming between the fixing plate and the supporting plate. Finally, the gripping member presents coupling openings (11, 11') cooperating in service position with the upper end (14') of the piston (14) of the syringe.

Abstract: A machine for sorting rod-shaped articles 3-6 of magnetic material in accordance with their respective lengths, such as knives, forks, and spoons, includes a transporting arrangement 1 which comprises magnetic collecting rods 2 which attract magnetically the ends of respective items and carry them past a plurality of underlying magnetic delivery rods 11-14 with the items hanging vertically. The delivery rods are spaced at a progressively diminishing distance from the movement path of the collecting rods so that the lower ends of the longest items 3 come into contact with the first delivery rod 11 and are drawn loose from a collecting rod 2 thereby, this procedure being repeated at each classifying station until the shortest item 6 comes into contact with the last, commensurately spaced delivery rod 14 and is drawn loose thereby.

Abstract: This invention relates to an inflating device, preferably for inflating vehicle tires, comprising a housing (1), a gas cartridge (8) arranged for sliding action in the housing, and an outer sleeve (12) slidably arranged on the outer surface of the housing (1) and in pressure contact with an upper part of the gas cartridge (8) at one end (2) of the housing. The cartridge has a neck (9) which incorporates a non-return valve (16). The end (3) of the housing (1) opposite the aforesaid one end has an inwardly extending post (5) which has extending axially and centrally therein a fine channel 4, the center lines of the post and channel being concentrical with the housing 1. The channel discharges at one end into a recess (7) in the bottom (3) of the housing (1), the recess having connection means for sealing connection with valve adaptor means (20) on the object to be inflated.

Abstract: A coffin comprising a box having a cover, an upper frame, a lower frame, and an inside fitting. The box has hinged lateral walls permitting its folding to a storage and transportation position in which its height is a fraction of its extended height. Alternate lateral walls are formed of only one flap hinged on one of the frames, the remaining lateral walls being comprised by two flaps hinged together along a middle line and to each of the frames respectively along directions parallel to that middle line. The cover is invertible on the upper frame, to a compact storage position.

Abstract: A measuring device for dispensing preferably viscous liquids comprising a container (4) for the liquid with a main space (28) and below the main space, a smaller space (29) which is in communication with the main space through a passage (37) and opens out through another passage (30). The portion which constitutes the smaller space (29) and the two passages (37, 30) is compressible. A member (3) is adapted, under the influence of spring forces, in a first position to compress the second passage (30). The member can be moved, against the action of said spring forces, into a second position in which it compresses the first passage (37) while the second passage (30) is open, so that in a third position, in which the member compresses the smaller space (29) and still the first passage (37), the liquid squirts out through the second passage (30).
