The tailgate frame and the lateral frame are each composed of an upper shell and a lower shell, and the reinforcing component is arranged between the upper and lower shells of the tailgate frame and the lateral frame. A hinge reinforcement for a hinge of a tailgate is formed in the reinforcing component in the region of the tailgate frame.
