The engine housing has at least one A-bearing shield and at least one B-bearing shield (6) for supporting the rotor relative to the engine housing, wherein the A-bearing shield and/or the B-bearing shield has/have a multipart design, in particular a two-part design, in each case comprising a respective annular inner shield and an annular outer shield, and the inner shield is arranged radially within the outer shield such that an annular space is formed between the inner shield and the outer shield. A connection shield is at least partly arranged in the annular space so that the inner shield and the outer shield are secured in the radial direction by the connection shield.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 14, 2021Publication date: January 25, 2024Applicant: Schaeffler Technologies AG & Co. Patent number: 9853655Abstract: In some examples, a method includes controlling a first set of switches to deliver a first voltage signal through a first set of capacitors to a common node. The method also includes controlling a second set of switches to deliver a second voltage signal through a second set of capacitors to the common node, wherein the first set of capacitors is electrically connected to the second set of capacitors by the common node. The method further includes measuring a time duration to discharge the common node. The second voltage signal includes an opposing polarity to the first voltage signal.Type: GrantFiled: March 1, 2017Date of Patent: December 26, 2017Assignee: Infineon Technologies AGInventors: Martin Pernull, Peter Bogner, Sven Derksen, Jaafar Mejri

Patent number: 7109785Abstract: Current source for generating a constant reference current having an amplifier circuit, which outputs a negative feedback voltage, present across a first resistor, in inverted amplified fashion as amplification output voltage; a first voltage/current converter, which generates a current in a manner dependent on the amplifier output voltage; a first current mirror circuit, which mirrors the current generated by the voltage/current converter to form a mirrored current which flows through the first resistor in order to generate the negative feedback voltage; and having a second current mirror circuit, which mirrors the current generated by the voltage/current converter to form the reference current.Type: GrantFiled: June 25, 2004Date of Patent: September 19, 2006Assignee: Infineon Technologies AGInventor: Sven Derksen

Patent number: 6914491Abstract: In a phase control loop, an output signal which is used to control an oscillator in a PLL or a phase-delay device in a DLL is generated by means of a phase/frequency detector. In accordance with the invention, the oscillator or the phase-delay device is controlled by means of a control signal which is made up of a controlling component and an adjusting component. The controlling component is generated as a proportional function of the output signal, whereas the adjusting component is generated as a proportional function of the low-pass-filtered output signal. At low frequencies, the loop gain is higher in this case for generating the adjusting component than for generating the controlling component, which means that the output signal and the component parts through which it passes can be operated at their optimum operating point, at the centre of the range of variation for example. The adjusting component may be generated by both analog and digital procedures.Type: GrantFiled: April 17, 2003Date of Patent: July 5, 2005Assignee: Infineon Technologies AGInventor: Sven Derksen

Publication number: 20050077970Abstract: A method and a device for controlling an oscillator (1) are proposed, wherein a first control signal (b) is generated depending on an output signal (e) of the oscillator (1) and on a first reference signal (a), and a second control signal (d) is generated depending on the first control signal (b) and on a second reference signal (c), and wherein the oscillator (1) is subjected to the first control signal (b) and to the second control signal (d) and generates the output signal (e) with a frequency dependent on the first control signal (b) and on the second control signal (d). A low-noise phase locked loop with a large possible frequency range can be realised by such a method and such a device.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 18, 2004Publication date: April 14, 2005Applicant: Infineon Technologies AGInventors: Nicola Da Dalt, Sven Derksen
