    Abstract: A power train substantially contains an internal combustion engine and an adjacent gearbox unit is connected to the vehicle body via a power-plant mounting. The gearbox unit is held by way of a rear end on a carrying bracket via fastening devices and is mounted in a supported manner on a crossmember by elastic bearings. The carrying bracket contains a tension stop and a guide device which contains a guide journal which extends vertically into passage openings of the crossmember and has an end-side horizontally oriented stop plate.
