  • Patent number: 6427568
Abstract: A method and device for preventing or reducing formation of magnetism in two adjacently located saw blades rotating in opposed rotary directions in relation to each other. Each saw blade is arranged having a number of substantially radially extending through grooves having an extension within the area of the rotary center for each saw blade and the surrounding saw teeth area. The grooves are arranged, when rotating, to remove air existing between adjacent planes of the saw blades. The through grooves are arranged having a substantially curved extension, but may also have a substantially linear extension. The grooves are arranged having a chamfer by the edge portions, arranged to increase removal of air from the space between the interacting saw blades.

  • Patent number: 6135004
Abstract: Saw blade utilized for applications in which two saw blades are arranged located in an adjacent relationship and with opposed rotary direction in relation to each other. Every side portion of each saw tooth adjacent to a first side plane, being the side plane in use intended to be located adjacent to a similar co-acting saw blade, extending substantially parallel in relation to the first side plane, but with an extension more closely related to the central portion of the saw blade, separated from the first side plane by a smaller distance. Furthermore, the outer edge portion of each saw tooth adjacent to a second side plane of the saw blade is arranged with a peripherally initially substantially straight part, located outside the second side plane and in a substantially parallel relationship thereto, and which is transformed into an inclined part in relation to the second side plane, arranged to create a clearance angle.

  • Patent number: 5732982
Abstract: A coupling joint, arranged to join a first element having a substantially circular internal envelope surface with a second element, inserted into the first element and having a smaller external diameter than the internal diameter of the first element. The coupling joint includes a helically wound, and in longitudinal direction, corrugated or creased strip-shaped intermediate member, which is located in an intermediate position between the first and the second element. An expanding or clamping joint, applied against the first or second element causes same to be pressed against the intermediate member causing same to be compressed or pressed against adjacent envelope surfaces of the elements. The side edge portions of the intermediate member are preferably arranged extending towards one and same element, and engage with the element when the intermediate member is compressed or pressed.

  • Patent number: 4034777
Abstract: Apparatus for creating holes in a transport pipe by means of explosive power is disclosed. The apparatus includes a guiding channel attached to the transport pipe with a hole piercing member inserted in the guiding channel, and with the hole piercing member connected to a maneuverable adjusting member which moves the hole piercing member toward and away from the transport pipe. A channel for carrying the explosive cartridge is provided in communication with the guiding channel and in position above the hole piercing member. Upon actuation, the explosive cartridge moves the hole piercing member at high speed toward the transport pipe to create a hole therein.

  • Patent number: 4018546
Abstract: A pump device for flow rate control of liquid in a piping system in which the pump housing sealing engages a pipe of the system, the housing having an axial channel extending parallel to the pipe and communicating at its ends with the pipe via holes in the pipe, a guide member adjacent the upstream hole for guiding a portion of the flow into the pipe, and the rotatable part of a power driven pump mounted on the housing being located in the axial channel for pumping the fluid therein into the pipe through the downstream hole thereby accelerating the liquid flow through the pipe.

  • Patent number: 3981322
Abstract: A method and means for connection of crosswisely extending pipe connections at a longitudinally extending transport pipe for fluid, gas or similar media. The method and the means involves the attachment of two separate parts in an embracing relationship to the transport pipe, thus forming a body for the connection means, said body including a guiding channel directed towards the transport pipe and in which a hole piercing member is movably arranged, the hole piercing member being arranged to take up a hole under the influence of an applied force.

  • Patent number: 3942240
Abstract: The attachment of a tubular pipe connection means to the wall of a storage tank of similar structure in which an end portion of the pipe connection means attachable to the wall is provided with an inwardly inclined conical collar having at its free end portion an outwardly directed conical flange. A bar with a conically-shaped free end portion being insertable into the pipe connection means so that the free end portion thereof contacts the inside of the collar with a conical hole piercing member being attached to the free end portion of the bar in contact with the inside of the flange of the pipe connection means. The arrangement is such that when the hole piercing member together with the pipe connection means are moved axially through the wall of the tank, the conical collar and flange, via the conically shaped free end portion of the bar, are pressed outwardly and caused to bend and grip the edge of the hole formed in the wall by the piercing member.
