One topographic scan of the patient is recorded simultaneously per tube detector combination with the aid of a computed tomography scanner which has at least two tube detector combinations arranged at a fixed angle to one another. Each detector has at least one row with a large number of individual detector elements. The at least two tube detector combinations are moved exclusively linearly parallel to the system axis of the CT and relative to the patient.
