  • Patent number: 9976282
Abstract: Leveled fuel levels in a fuel tank disposed at an undercarriage of a construction machine may ensure that the total fuel volume of the fuel tank may be accessible. The fuel tank may include a first fuel compartment and a second fuel compartment fluidly connected to the first fuel compartment and disposed at higher altitudes than the first fuel compartment. Furthermore, the fuel tank may include at least one step integrally formed with the first fuel compartment or second fuel compartment for facilitating entrance to an operator station of the construction machine.

  • Patent number: 9802473
Abstract: A grill assembly is disclosed. The grill assembly includes an air inlet screen. The air inlet screen is configured to allow passage of air therethrough. The grill assembly also includes a base frame. The base frame is attached to the air inlet screen. The grill assembly further includes a plurality of trusses. The plurality of trusses is connected to the base frame. The grill assembly includes a motor affixed to the trusses. The motor is configured to mechanically vibrate the trusses. Further, the trusses are arranged in a manner such that the air inlet screen is configured to vibrate during an operation of the motor.

  • Publication number: 20150299979
Abstract: A boom assembly for a construction machine is disclosed. The boom assembly may have a first side barrier and a second side barrier spaced apart from each other. The first and second side barriers may have a first pin receiving groove and a second pin receiving groove, respectively. The boom assembly may have a boom including a pin receiving bore. The boom assembly may also have a boom mounting pin extending through the pin receiving bore, the first pin receiving groove, and the second pin receiving groove. Further, the boom assembly may have a first mounting member mounted on the boom mounting pin at the first pin receiving groove and being removably attached to the first side barrier. In addition, the boom assembly may have a second mounting member mounted on the boom mounting pin at the second pin receiving groove and being removably attached to the second side barrier.

  • Publication number: 20150114363
Abstract: A fuel tank for an internal combustion engine is disclosed. The fuel tank may have a first fuel compartment defining a first convex volume. The first convex volume may be configured to provide fuel having a first fuel temperature to the internal combustion engine. The fuel tank may also have a second fuel compartment defining a second convex volume. The second fuel compartment may be disposed above the first fuel compartment. The second fuel compartment may also be configured to receive excess fuel from the internal combustion engine. The excess fuel may have a second fuel temperature higher than the first fuel temperature. In addition, the fuel tank may have a fluid passage configured to fluidly connect a first gravitationally upper most portion of the first fuel compartment to a second gravitationally upper most portion of the second fuel compartment.
