  • Publication number: 20160210776
Abstract: An image processing apparatus for 3D reconstruction is provided. The image processing apparatus may comprise: an epipolar plane image generation unit configured to generate a first set of epipolar plane images from a first set of images of a scene, the first set of images being captured from a plurality of locations; an orientation determination unit configured to determine, for pixels in the first set of epipolar plane images, two or more orientations of lines passing through any one of the pixels; and a 3D reconstruction unit configured to determine disparity values or depth values for pixels in an image of the scene based on the orientations determined by the orientation determination unit.

  • Patent number: 8626378
Abstract: A method is provided for determining and providing information for the transport of an object with a passenger car. A determining of the first parameter of the object to be transported takes place, where the at least one first parameter is selected from the group consisting of dimensions of the object and the mass of the object. In addition, a determining of a current transport capacity of the passenger car takes place. Furthermore, a determining of a probable loading state of the passenger car based on the determined first parameter and the determined current transport capacity of the passenger car takes place. In addition, an outputting of information regarding the determined probable loading state takes place.

  • Patent number: 6096082
Abstract: With the invention a modular instrument system for knee joint prostheses is shown. A shaft (1), which can be provisorily but rotationally fixedly anchored along the anatomical axis (4) of the distal femur bone (2), terminates in the direction towards the joint with a collar (6). A parallel guide (7) is provided in the direction of a mechanical axis (9) from the collar (6) towards the interior of the shaft (1), which stands off by a guide angle a towards the medial to the shaft axis, which coincides with the anatomical axis (4). A coupling piece (10) with a projecting guide part (8) which is displaceably journalled in the parallel guide (7) serves as a reception for manipulation condyles (23) in order to test and determine the ideal position with respect to a tibia platform in the end positions of the articulation before resection blocks are positioned with the fixed coupling piece (10) for the final resection. The collar (6) is particularly advantageous in re-operations as a reference abutment (30).
