  • Publication number: 20110254594
Abstract: The present invention relates to a solution for electrical power conversion using a first gate (202, 302) for starting an electrical wave in a wave propagating medium (205, 306) acting as a transmission delay where an electrical wave propagates and due to reflections in the propagating medium a resulting wave builds up and is transferred to an output for delivering a power amplifier, DC/DC converter or similar function and the output is controlled using a second gate (204, 304).

  • Publication number: 20100033157
Abstract: A method and an electrical circuit for DC-DC voltage conversion in a network comprising an input voltage terminal, an output voltage terminal, at least one first switch and at least one second switch, at least one input impedance, at least one load impedance and at least one transmission line with known impedance where the electrical circuit is characterized by that the impedance of the at least one transmission line is adapted to be mismatched to at least the load impedance and where at least one of the at least first switches is arranged in relation to the at least one transmission line to switch between open and closed positions for generating a pulse wave propagating in the at least one transmission line charging a load capacitance of the load impedance with electrical energy.

  • Publication number: 20080253051
Abstract: The invention describes an electric circuit (100), a method and a computer program for hot-swapping and electronic board in a telecommunication system, where the increase in current in the electric circuit is controlled by a microcontroller (130) switching a power transistor in a switching circuit (150) so as to gradually increase the capacitor voltage for the electronic board. The current level is measured either in the microcontroller (130) itself or in an external current sense circuit (140) and compared to a maximum current level.
