  • Patent number: 11954372
Abstract: A technique efficiently migrates a live virtual disk (vdisk) across storage containers of a cluster having a plurality of nodes deployed in a virtualization environment. Each node is embodied as a physical computer with hardware resources, such as processor, memory, network and storage resources, that are virtualized to provide support for one or more user virtual machines (UVM) executing on the node. The storage resources include storage devices embodied as a storage pool that is logically segmented into the storage containers configured to store one or more vdisks. The storage containers include a source container having associated storage policies and a destination container having different (new) storage policies.

  • Patent number: 11956245
Abstract: A technological approach can be employed to protect data. Datasets from distinct computing environments of an organization can be scanned to identify data elements subject to protection, such as sensitive data. The identified elements can be automatically protected such as by masking, encryption, or tokenization. Data lineage including relationships amongst data and linkages between computing environments can be determined along with data access patterns to facilitate understanding of data. • Patent number: 11934682
Abstract: A technological approach to management of data lifecycle includes protecting data. Datasets from distinct computing environments of an organization can be scanned to identify data elements subject to protection, such as sensitive data. Data lineage associated with the identified data elements can be determined including relationships amongst other data and linkages between computing environments or systems. The identified elements can be automatically protected based at least in part on the lineage such as by masking, encryption, or tokenization. Further, the datasets can be monitored to create audit trails for interactions with the datasets.

  • Publication number: 20230376542
Abstract: Methods, systems, and non-transitory computer readable storage media are disclosed for determining clusters of similar digital documents using unique document signatures. Specifically, the disclosed system processes digital text in a digital document to tokenize character strings (e.g., words) in the digital document by combining a subset of character values and string lengths in the character strings. Additionally, the disclosed system generates a document signature for the digital document by combining subsets of tokens generated for the digital document into a token sequence indicative of the digital text in the digital document. The disclosed system determines a cluster of similar digital documents including the digital document by comparing the document signature of the digital document to document signatures corresponding to a plurality of digital documents.

  • Patent number: 11144537
Abstract: A system provides for data consensus validation in an electronic distributed server network using a screening node. In particular, a distributed database may be hosted on nodes operated by one or more third party entities. The screening node may retrieve reference data, which may be submitted by one or more reference data providers, from the distributed database to generate executable scripts from the screening algorithms within the reference data. The scripts may in turn be validated by the nodes of the distributed database and subsequently embedded into the distributed database for execution by one or more computing systems within the network environment.

  • Patent number: 10630666
Abstract: A method and a system to allow Peers to register with and establish ownership of identities, such as email addresses, social network identities, phone numbers, etc., that they are recognized by in the real world, and then have these be utilized for the purpose of being targeted for relationship establishment. Correspondingly, the Peer uses identities of other Peers to seek relationships with these Peers, who too have registered and established ownership of their identities. Relationships are assessed for compatibility prior to fulfillment. A Relationship request could be made visible to all Peers, to the targeted Peer or to the targeted Peer if the targeted Peer also seeks an equivalent relationship with the Peer. Relationship fulfillment may be customized to allow for prior affirmations. Peers use their various network connected computing devices to utilize the system, which runs on a host of network connected computing devices.

  • Publication number: 20200089650
Abstract: Machine learning models typically are based on processing large-volume datasets, and datasets are preprocessed so that the machine learning can provide sound results. In building a model, certain example embodiments generate meta-features for each of a number of independent variables in an accessed portion of the dataset. The meta-features are provided as input to pre-trained classification models. Those models output, for the independent variables, indications of one or more appropriate missing value imputation operations, and one or more appropriate other preprocessing data cleansing related operations. The data in the dataset is transformed by selectively applying the missing value imputation operation(s) and the other preprocessing operation(s), in accordance with the independent variables associated with the data, thereby performing the preprocessing in an automated and programmatic way that helps improve the quality of the built model.
