    Abstract: In one embodiment, the invention provides for discovery of the functional aspects of a piece of software code. The invention then generates a set of testing parameters designed to test the piece of software code for proper operation of each of the discovered functions. The discovered functions and their corresponding testing parameters may then be stored as one or more test cases. Test code is then generated for each test case. The test code enables each test case to be run to determine whether the corresponding functions operate properly.
