  • Publication number: 20230063893
Abstract: An example system includes a processor and a node agent executing on the processor. The node agent is configured to receive a message indicative of a workload, a processor policy of the workload, and a number of processor threads requested for the workload. The node agent is also configured to allow simultaneous allocation of a processor core to the workload and another workload based on the processor policy being a first policy. The node agent is also configured to prevent simultaneous allocation of the processor core to the workload and the other workload based on the processor policy being a second policy or a third policy. The node agent is also configured to allow simultaneous allocation of the processor core for two or more of the requested processor threads based on the processor policy being the second policy.

  • Publication number: 20230059946
Abstract: An approach is provided for generating process flow documentation. Headings and subheadings are identified in multiple system documents specifying actions required to be taken in response to service requests, which are specified by process flows. A portion of a system document included in the multiple system documents is mapped to a process block of a process flow included in the process flows. The portion is specified by a heading or subheading in the system document. The mapping is based on a similarity score indicating an amount of similarity between (i) the heading or subheading and (ii) a name of the process block, or based on a matching of the portion of the system document to the process block by a semantic understanding of the portion provided by a machine learning system.

  • Patent number: 11570946
Abstract: A system and method to distribute pesticides, fertilizers, water, and other materials on a farm with accuracy and precision is disclosed in order to combat the problems imposed on the environment due to over-fertilization and over use of pesticides. This system and method is a social networking control system in which multiple farms have independent grids of sensors capable of detecting the presence of pesticides, fertilizers, water, and other materials in the air, in the top-soil, and in the groundwater. These grids of sensors detect the location and concentration of these materials and reports them back to a social control system for analysis. The control system regulates the deposition of further chemicals through computer control of the chemical dispersal systems.

  • Patent number: 11544246
Abstract: Techniques of implementing partition level operations with concurrent activities are disclosed. A first operation can be performed on a first partition of a table of data. The first partition can be one of a plurality of partitions of the table, where each partition has a plurality of rows. A first partition level lock can be applied to the first partition for a period in which the first operation is being performed on the first partition, thereby preventing any operation other than the first operation from being performed on the first partition during the period the first partition level lock is being applied to the first partition. A second operation can be performed on a second partition of the table at a point in time during which the first operation is being performed on the first partition.

  • Publication number: 20220405135
Abstract: A request to execute a workload that utilizes an amount of resources to be executed is received from a client device. Corresponding resources that are available at multiple non-uniform memory access (NUMA) nodes are received from one or more host systems. A particular NUMA node of the multiple NUMA nodes is identified in view of the particular NUMA node having available resources that are greater than the amount of resources to execute the workload. A scheduling hint is assigned to the workload that indicates that the particular NUMA node is to be used to execute the workload.

  • Patent number: 11533287
Abstract: A mid-tier messaging system receives a request to initiate a communication session via a first messaging channel that includes a first messaging interface of a first messaging application provided at a user device and a first message provider of a plurality of message providers. The mid-tier messaging system establishes a first session that is mapped to the communication session. The mid-tier messaging system establishes the communication, using the first session, between the first messaging interface and the first message provider. The mid-tier messaging system provides, through the first session, first message communications between the first message provider and the first messaging interface. The mid-tier messaging system seamlessly switches to a second message provider service when the first message provider service cannot service an intent of the first communication session.

  • Patent number: 11526369
Abstract: A computerized personal assistant communicatively couples to a computer database including a plurality of available skills for the computerized personal assistant. The computerized personal assistant recognizes a current context of the user. The computerized personal assistant operates a previously-trained machine learning classifier to assess a match confidence for a candidate skill, the match confidence indicating a quality of match between the current context and a reference context previously associated with the candidate skill. The computerized personal assistant executes instructions defining an assistive action associated with the candidate skill responsive to the match confidence exceeding a predefined match confidence threshold. The computerized personal assistant executes the instructions defining a complementary help action associated with the candidate skill responsive to the match confidence not exceeding the predefined match confidence threshold.
