  • Publication number: 20250099768
Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for setting a therapeutic dose of a neuromodulator implanted into a patient. The therapeutic dose typically includes a therapeutic dose duration including a ramp-up time to reach a peak modulation voltage and a sustained peak modulation time during which the voltage is sustained at the peak modulation voltage. The methods and apparatuses may use a testing ramp to identify a peak modulation voltage that is patient-specific and provides a maximized therapeutic effect while remaining comfortably tolerable by the patient during the application of energy by the neuromodulator.

  • Patent number: 12146449
Abstract: At least some embodiments of present disclosure direct to a fuel injection timing drift detection and/or compensation system. In some cases, the system collects or receives a series of fuel pressure data measured by one or more fuel pressure sensors. The system is configured to receive an indication of fuel flow cutout and a start-of-injection command signal. The system calculates a set of pressure drops using the series of fuel pressure data and identifies a selected pressure drop greater than a predetermined threshold to determine a measured start-of-injection timing based on the selected pressure drop. The system is further configured to evaluate whether a fuel injection drifting occurs based on received start-of-injection command signal and the measured start-of-injection timing. In some cases, the fuel injection drifting is used to either compensate fuel injection timing or raise a flag indicating the drifting.

  • Patent number: 12025107
Abstract: A system to generate power, the system comprising a shaft configured for one-directional rotation around a horizontal axis, an inertial object coupled to the shaft where the inertial object has an uneven distribution of mass around the shaft, an electric generator configured to extract rotational kinetic energy from the shaft, and an electric motor configured to provide restorative energy to the shaft. The power generation method comprises steps of providing a power generation system, placing the shaft in an initial position, and inducing shaft rotation. Once shaft rotation is induced, the method alternates between steps of power generation and power consumption. More power is generated than consumed, resulting in a surplus of power supplied to the grid.

  • Patent number: 11878172
Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for collecting and quantifying patient-reported data from a neuromodulator. The patient-reported data typically includes a pain score that quantifies the level of pain experienced by the patient at a particular time. The apparatus can include a user interface that allows the patient to enter such information in real time. The methods and apparatuses can include a correlation process, whereby each patient-reported entry is correlated with a corresponding neuromodulation treatment. This correlation can be used to identify treatment parameters and dosages that are most effective, and to further identify when certain dosages are most effective. This information can further be used as feedback to generate optimized treatments for a specific patient and iteratively improve the treatments. In some cases, the correlation process identifies under reported or over reported data, which can be filtered out to provide more accurate optimized treatments.

  • Publication number: 20210340931
Abstract: Methods and systems, using a controller (20), for performing fuel pressure control operation of an engine (12) having at least one cylinder (16) is disclosed. The controller (20) includes a fuel system control unit (42) configured to control a fuel pressure applied to at least one injector (18) of the engine (12) during a motoring condition period (412) based on a commanded pulse train duration (410). During the motoring condition period (412), no combustion occurs in the at least one cylinder (16) of the engine (12). The commanded pulse train duration is a time period during which the at least one injector (18) of the engine (12) is activated for a drain operation. The fuel system control unit (42) is configured to command the at least one injector (18), for the commanded pulse train duration during the motoring condition period (412), to release fuel from the at least one injector (18) without injecting the fuel into the at least one cylinder (16) of the engine (12).
