Abstract: Techniques for anomaly and causality detection are described. An example includes receiving time series data; performing anomaly detection on the received time series data to detect at least one anomaly using an anomaly detection model; detecting a causal relationship between measures, wherein a set of measures are related when a first of the set of measures has a causal influence on a second of the set of measures, wherein a single time series is a metric and a measure is a numerical or categorical quantity a metric describes; and outputting a result of the anomaly and causality relationship detections.

Abstract: A computer-implemented system and method comprises injecting a hang of data transfer on at least one of a plurality of interfaces interconnecting simulated, emulated, or physical hardware subcomponents arranged to send or receive data transmitted between the subcomponents. The system and method also include determining activity status of data transfer at the interfaces. Then the system and method generates a hang signature to be placed in a hang signature database. The hang signature indicates the activity status of the interfaces that occur when the hang is present and the identification of the hardware subcomponent with the hang.

The example method may also include sending the second set of video encoding parameters to an encoder device. The example method may also include receiving, by a second device, the first output. The example method may also include receiving, by the second device, a second output, wherein the second output represents second encoded video content generated by the encoder device based on the second set of video encoding parameters. The example method may also include performing a validation of the encoder device by comparing the first output and the second output.

An example method may include receiving, at a logic gate included within an encoding pipeline of a video encoder, a first transform unit (TU) of a first size. The example method may also include receiving, at the logic gate, a second transform unit (TU) of a second size, wherein the first size and the second size are different. The example method may also include generating, using the logic gate, a first forward transform of the first TU and a second forward transform of the second TU.
