  • Patent number: 9437199
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and the associated device 1 for separating one or more particular digital audio source signals (si) contained in a mixed multichannel digital audio signal (smix) obtained by mixing a plurality of digital audio source signals (s1, . . . , sp). According to the invention: the modulus of the amplitude or the normalized power of the particular source signal(s) (si) is determined from representative values of said particular source signal(s) contained in the mixed signal; and then linearly constrained minimum variance spatial filtering is performed on the mixed signal in order to obtain each particular source signal (s?i), said filtering being based on the distribution of said particular source signal between at least two channels of the mixed signal, and the modulus of the amplitude or the normalized power of said particular source signal is used as a linear constraint of the filter.

  • Publication number: 20120203362
Abstract: The invention relates to a method of formation of one or more mixed signals (Sout) on the basis of at least two digital source signals (S1, S2), in particular audio signals, in which the mixed signal or signals (Sout) are formed by mixing the source signals (S1, S2). In particular, a quantity characteristic of a source signal or of the mixing is determined and the value (W1, W2) of the said characteristic quantity is watermarked on at least one of the signals (S1, S2, Sout). The invention also relates to a method of separation intended to separate, at least partially, at least one digital source signal contained in one or more mixed signals comprising a watermarked value of a quantity characteristic of a source signal or of the mixing.

  • Publication number: 20110190914
Abstract: A process for managing digital audio streams of a musical work, includes creating digital audio streams called tracks (p1 to p21) of the same musical work, whereby the tracks have a duration that is essentially equal to the musical work, each of the digital audio streams corresponding to a sound signal. The process includes, at the time of creation, combining the tracks into at least two units (G1 to G5), whereby the tracks and the units are called elements; establishing constraints relative to the elements; verifying that each new constraint is compatible with the prior constraints using a constraint resolution engine; encapsulating the tracks (p1 to p21) and the constraints in a single computer file; and, when the user listens to the work, selecting the tracks that he wishes to hear in accordance with the constraints, and obtaining a sound signal from the selected tracks.

  • Patent number: 6393211
Abstract: A heat radiator assembly having at least one heat radiator unit which comprises in combination a base and a primary reflector mounted on the base, the primary reflector having an elongated body with side walls (with a parabolic configuration in cross-section) upstanding outwardly from the base and end walls. A high power heating lamp is accommodated within the primary reflector by means of an elongated gap formed between lateral edges of the side walls of the primary reflector adjacent to the base. A secondary reflector having a generally elongated configuration is mounted on the base; it has an inner and an outer surface. The secondary reflector's inner surface faces the elongated gap of the primary reflector and the outer surface faces the base; the secondary reflector is adapted to reflect all lost radiation emitted from the lamp through the gap towards the base, thus facilitating prevention of overheating of the base and increasing efficiency of the heat radiator assembly.
