  • Patent number: 8890641
Abstract: In this method, magnetic studs housed in a plate are connected to magnetic flux measuring circuits, which define measuring zones, and to power circuits that make it possible to magnetize or demagnetize the studs. The method comprises prior steps that consist in determining (100) at least two treatment zones each defined by at least one measuring zone and defining (102) a surface of the clamping plate in contact with the part to be clamped, as well as following steps consisting, for each treatment zone, in identifying (103) one or more magnetic studs included in a surface of the clamping plate in contact with the part to be clamped, measuring (105) the magnetic flux produced by the stud or studs identified previously, calculating (106) an actual magnetic clamping force based on the measurement of the preceding step and on the identification made previously, calculating (108) a theoretical magnetic force thanks to this identification.

  • Patent number: 7894928
Abstract: A device for forming a Jacquard type shed including a plurality of electric actuators (61) and control means (C1, C21) for controlling each actuator (61) suitable for generating a signal (S211) representative of a value of at least one parameter (A). The control means includes an analyzer (C?21) for analyzing, for at least one pick (dn), a design that corresponds to one or more picks. The control means also includes a unit (C?21) for determining a modification factor on the basis of the result of the analysis carried out by the analyzer (C?21), in order to modify the value of the parameter (A) as determined by a computer.

  • Patent number: 7730910
Abstract: A weaving loom having self-contained assemblies that operate pulling systems for controlling heddle frames wherein each assembly includes at least one electric motor housed in a casing and at least one motor control unit having an electrical circuit for controlling electric power to the electric motor and wherein the self-contained assembly also includes a support on which the motor control unit is mounted and the support having at least one cooling duct extending there through. The self-contained assembly having damping elements providing a damping effect between the support and the electric motor.

  • Publication number: 20080178960
Abstract: The invention relates to a shed-forming device for a weaving loom equipped with several heald shafts or heddle frames and comprising a pulling system connected, for each heddle frame, to a self-contained assembly intended to operate the pulling system and comprising at least one electric motor unit housed in a casing (42) and at least one electrical circuit (54A, 55) intended to transmit in particular the electric power to the electric motor unit, characterized in that the self-contained assembly (E) also includes a support (51) placed close to the electric motor, the electrical circuit (54A, 55) being mounted on the support (51), while the support (51) has at least one cooling duct (51D, 51E) for the flow of a heat-transfer fluid. The self-contained assembly (E) includes damping elements (66B, 80A) placed so as to provide a flexible link between the support (51) and the electric motor unit (40A).
