    Abstract: Method and apparatus for introducing a first liquid having a high vapor pressure into a second liquid, which comprises maintaining the first liquid under gas pressure in excess of its vapor pressure, and intermittently introducing predetermined quantities of said first liquid under pressure into the second liquid. The pressure of the first liquid remains above its vapor pressure before it is mixed with the second liquid. This method and apparatus is particularly applicable to the introduction of liquid bromine chloride into liquid waste or water.
