Abstract: An edible utensil for winding up elongated pasta having projections extending radially from the surface of the utensil. The utensil is made of a food product such as bread that is reasonably rigid to hold bundles of elongated pasta. In operation, the utensil is placed against a plate containing a type of elongated pasta while the utensil is grasped. The utensil is substantially vertically positioned with respect to the plate. The user then rotates the utensil so that the strands of pasta wind up onto the tines of the utensil. The pasta and the portion of the utensil surrounded by the pasta are then consumed in the ordinary manner.
