  • Patent number: 5825899
Abstract: A data processing circuit inputs and connects a plurality of digital audio input channels in parallel, time-divisionally individually processes data of each input channel at every period Tu that is determined by a standardized united sampling frequency 44.1 kHz, thereafter, performs a designated mixing, and outputs mixed data from a D/A converter 44 to a line. When the united sampling frequency 44.1 kHz and a sound source sampling frequency of audio data differ, an interpolating process is executed.

  • Patent number: 5761405
Abstract: The main storage, the communication interface portion and the circuit control module hold transmission data in the buffers until completion of the transmission has been confirmed. When a fault has occurred in the current operating system of the duplexed portions in the configuration elements of the host computer and the multi-circuit control unit, the duplexed portions are changed over from the current operating system to the stand-by system. In this case, information for reproducing data that has been lost due to the change-over is transmitted from the main storage and the circuit control module to the communication interface portion which has become the new current operating system. The communication interface portion which has become the new current operating system restarts the processing based on this information.

  • Patent number: 5550562
Abstract: A data processing device includes an emulation processing section for performing prescribed processing on an output signal of an operation pad for conversion into a signal or data which is equivalent to a signal or data that would be obtained when operating a mouse to generate information. The operation pad is then usable with an application program that is designed for use only with signals output from the mouse.

  • Patent number: 5548710
Abstract: A trouble processing method of ISDN communication system using an ISDN (Integrated Services Digital Network) and a control apparatus of ISDN communication system. Among a plurality of ISDN communication adapters included in an ISDN communication control apparatus, the same TEI (Terminal Endpoint Identifier) value as that of an active ISDN communication adapter is assigned to its stand-by ISDN communication adapter. The stand-by ISDN communication adapter is made to operate in the same manner as the active ISDN communication adapter with the exception of interruption of transmission of an LAPD (Link Access Producer on the D-channel) to an ISDN. The stand-by ISDN communication adapter is held in the same communication state as the active communication adapter. When a trouble has occurred in the active ISDN communication adapter, the interruption of transmission of the LAPD frame is cancelled and the stand-by ISDN communication adapter is activated as the active ISDN communication adapter.

  • Patent number: 5396485
Abstract: In an information communication system for performing both point-to-point communication and point-to-multipoint communication between a host computer and terminals by using same lines while distributing loads of data communication, data communication report tables are provided on a main storage unit of the host computer for each type of communication. The data communication process is executed distributively at each CPU unit and communication interface unit of the host computer and at each control module of a communication control unit. A plurality of destination pattern tables indicating data destinations are provided for point-to-multipoint communication. For the point-to-multipoint communication, CPU unit designates a particular destination pattern table for each interface unit, and data transmission is requested to each control module in accordance with the destination pattern table.

  • Patent number: 5345566
Abstract: A method and apparatus for controlling a dual bus system, capable of realizing high speed and continuous operation even if one of the buses of the dual bus system fails. The method and apparatus has a dual bus system, a plurality of electronic circuits connected to both buses of the dual bus system, and bus controller for providing a bus use allowance signal to one of the plurality of electronic circuits, the one electronic circuit being selected in accordance with bus occupation request signals issued from the plurality of electronic circuits requesting data transfer. If the bus occupation request signals for both buses of the dual bus system originates from the one selected electronic circuit and the outputs of the arbiters coincide, the bus use allowance signal is provided to the one selected electronic circuit for the allowance of occupying both buses of the dual bus system. A completion of data transfer at the dual bus system is determined when data transfer is completed at both buses.

  • Patent number: 5155731
Abstract: An error logging data storing system containing a first storing unit for storing error logging data corresponding to an error of high importance, a second storing unit for storing error logging data corresponding to an error of either high or low importance. A first indicating unit indicates whether or not the first storing unit is occupied by error logging data the diagnosing operation of which is not completed. A second indicating unit indicates whether or not the second storing unit is occupied by error logging data the diagnosing operation of which is not completed. A storage control unit stores error logging data corresponding to an error of high importance in the second storing unit when the first indicating unit indicates that the first storing unit is occupied by error logging data the diagnosing operation of which is not completed and the second indicating unit indicates that the second storing unit is not occupied by error logging data the diagnosing operation of which is not completed.

  • Patent number: 4897967
Abstract: An apparatus for truing the cylindrical outer peripheral grinding surface of a grinding wheel includes a truing head which is movable toward or away from the grinding wheel in a first direction which is parallel to the grinding surface and in a second direction which is perpendicular to the first direction. A truing wheel is rotatably supported on the truing head, has a truing surface and is movable with the truing head for truing the grinding surface. A contacting detection member is secured to the truing head, projects therefrom toward the grinding surface and has an end surface which can be brought into contact with the grinding surface. A device is provided for detecting the contact of the end surface of the detection member with the grinding surface and producing an output signal upon detecting their contact. Three feed control devices are provided to move the truing head in various directions.
