    Abstract: The present invention relates to a water-dispersible self-hardenable resin composition, and particularly to a self-hardenable resin composition, which has a low-temperature hardenability and is adapted for the cationic electrodeposition painting wherein a material to be painted is used as a cathode.The present invention provides a self-hardenable resin composition consisting essentially of a Michael type addition reaction product consisting of 65-95% by weight (in solid base) of a polyamine resin having amino groups and/or imino groups and 35-5% by weight of an ethylenically unsaturated compound having an amine-imido group.
