  • Patent number: 8916255
Abstract: A fastener tape includes a tape main body portion and an element attachment portion in which a core thread is knitted. The tape main body portion includes a first tape main body portion region at the element attachment portion and a second tape main body portion region. A wale interval between a wale of the element attachment portion adjacent to the first tape main body portion region and a wale constituting the first tape main body portion region is narrower than that of the second tape main body portion region. Therefore, while the flexibility of the second tape main body portion region is ensured, a tape strength and an abrasion resistance are improved, and further, when a fastener element is formed, this prevents resin leakage through knitted loops of the element attachment portion.

  • Patent number: 7387001
Abstract: The invention provides a fastener tape for a slide fastener, which prevents stretching of an element attaching portion in a tape longitudinal direction while maintaining plasticity possessed by a knitted fabric inherently and has the improved strength of the element attaching portion, wherein a narrow width fastener tape is composed of a warp knitting structure in which an element attaching portion constituted of a plurality of wales is formed by knitting along one side edge of a tape main body portion, the element attaching portion is formed by disposing at least: a warp knitting yarn which runs in a zigzag fashion forming a needle loop across two or more wales adjacent to each other such that the needle loop is entangled with a needle loop of another knitting yarn of every other course on a wale; and a weft in-laid yarn which runs across two or more wales adjacent to each other.

  • Patent number: 5728448
Abstract: In a reflective warp-knit tape, a narrow-width warp-knit tape is knitted of chain-stitch yarns, which form loops along longitudinal wales of the warp-knit tape, and weft inlaid yarns. And a reflective film is knitted in the warp-knit tape at a selected interwale space by the weft inlaid yarns and additional weft inlaid yarns. A heat-melting film also is knitted in the warp-knit tape at another selected interwale space by the weft inlaid yarns. Alternatively, the heat-melting film may be substituted by heat-melting yarns inlaid in the wales. In another alternative form, all the knitting yarns of the warp-knit tape may be thermoplastic resin monofilament yarns so that the light-reflecting function of the tape can be improved.
