  • Patent number: 11923242
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a semiconductor device, includes: stacking a thermally-decomposable organic material on a surface of a substrate in which a recess is formed; implanting ions into a surface of the organic material stacked in the recess so as to modify the surface of the organic material and form a modified layer on the surface of the organic material; and heating the substrate to a first temperature so as to thermally decompose the organic material under the modified layer and to desorb the organic material through the modified layer so that an air gap is formed between the modified layer and the recess.

  • Patent number: 8009414
Abstract: The present invention includes flat-panel type display section (11), main body (12) which supports this flat-panel type display section (11), angle adjustment mechanism (13) for adjusting an inclination angle to a perpendicular direction of a display surface of flat-panel type display section (11), and shelf member (14) on which an article is to be placed. Then, as for shelf member (14), one end of the shelf member is provided near an upper edge of flat-panel type display section (11), and the other end of the shelf member is supported by main body (12). According to the present invention, since supporting plate (22) of shelf member (11) is supported by main body (12), shelf member (14) is not moved in connection with flat-panel type display section (11) when the display angle of flat-panel type display section (11) is adjusted by angle adjustment mechanism (13), and hence, the article is stably placed on shelf member (14).

  • Patent number: 6735455
Abstract: This invention relates to a portable information terminal having a plurality of functions such as a radio communication terminal unit, a data processing terminal unit, a digital camera unit, etc. The portable information terminal comprises a plurality of function processing units which respectively perform the functions; a battery which supplies electric power to the function processing units; a remaining battery charge detecting unit which detects remaining battery charge of the battery; and a power supply control unit. This power supply control unit compares the remaining battery charge with each of power supply limiting values determined in advance with respect to the function processing units, and, when the remaining battery charge becomes lower than at least one of the power supply limiting values of the function processing units, the power supply control unit stops power supply to the at least one of the function processing units and/or outputs warning signals.

  • Patent number: 5844776
Abstract: A static memory device has compatibility with a disk drive installed in an electronic apparatus as an external storage unit. The static memory device has a first memory board arranged on the same base portion as the one on which the disk drive can be installed, the first memory board having the same projected area as the disk drive. On the first memory board is arranged a storage unit which is accessible at high speed, such as a semiconductor memory. When the storage capacity of the first memory board only is not enough, an extension memory board can be mounted on the first memory board. When the storage capacity is not sufficient even by mounting the extension memory board on the first memory board, a second memory board can be mounted on the extension memory board. Extension memory boards can also be mounted on the second memory board. Even in this state, the shape is the same as that of the disk drive.

  • Patent number: 5523692
Abstract: An oil deterioration detector comprising a sensitive electrode whose electric potential varies in response to acidity and/or basicity of oil to be measured, and a reference electrode associated with this sensitive electrode. An electrically conductive housing accommodates the sensitive electrode and the reference electrode together with the oil. A potential difference detector detects oil deterioration by measuring a potential difference between the sensitive electrode and the reference electrode. And, an insulating member is interposed between these electrodes and the electrically conductive housing for electrically insulating these electrodes from the electrically conductive housing. The reference electrode is grounded together with the electrically conductive housing. An insulating, hydrophilic porous member would be interposed between the sensitive electrode and the reference electrode.

  • Patent number: 5297119
Abstract: Data input through a key switch is displayed on a liquid crystal display and is stored in an EEPROM. The data stored in the EEPROM is immediately read out to check whether the read data coincide with the input data. If the data stored in the EEPROM and read out therefrom does not coincide with the input data, the input data is stored again. If the input data cannot be stored in the EEPROM after storage operation is performed a predetermined number of times, a CPU determines, on the basis of a signal from a battery voltage detecting circuit, whether a voltage applied from a power supply circuit to the EEPROM exceeds a predetermined voltage. On the basis of this determination result, the CPU causes the liquid crystal display to display a cause for the disabled storage operation with respect to the EEPROM.
