Abstract: An image-forming process using a long rolled transparent light-sensitive recording material is disclosed. The process comprises applying at least two image-forming steps each including at least an image exposure and a development to a long rolled transparent light-sensitive recording material comprising a support having thereon a light-sensitive layer and a surface protective layer containing a hardenable compound and fine particles. The recording material preferably has a backing layer containing fine particles.

Abstract: In a light transmissible light-sensitive recording material, the improvement wherein said recording material is a long film having a width of 40 mm or less, and both sides of at least one surface of said film each have an image protective zone having a kinetic friction coefficient of 0.35 or less which are provided in the lengthwise direction of the film in parallel with each other, is disclosed.

Abstract: Photoconductive compositions composed of an organic photoconductor or a dye-sensitized organic photoconductor are disclosed. The compositions have their sensitivity increased by the addition of a thioamide compound to the photoconductive composition. The photoconductive compositions are used in constructing electrophotographic light-sensitive materials having sufficiently high sensitivity for practical use. Various specific thioamide compounds which have been found to be effective are disclosed.

Abstract: Photoconductive compositions composed of an organic photoconductor or a dye-sensitized organic photoconductor are disclosed. The composition have their sensitivity increased by the addition of an amide compound to the photoconductive composition. The photoconductive compositions are used in constructing electrophotographic light-sensitive materials having sufficiently high sensitivity for practical use. Various specific amide compounds which have been found to be effective are disclosed.

Abstract: A photoconductive composition containing as essential components a photoconductive polymer and 1,4-bis(.beta.-cyano-.beta.-alkoxycarbonylvinyl)benzene represented by the following formula (I) ##STR1## wherein R represents a methyl group, an ethyl group, a propyl group or an isopropyl group, present in an amount of about 0.02 mol to 0.5 mol per mol of a .pi.-electron system-containing constitutional repeating unit present in the photoconductive polymer, and which forms a charge transfer complex with the photoconductive polymer through the .pi.-electron system having optical sensitivities in the ultraviolet to visible regions; and an electrophotographic light-sensitive material incorporating the aforesaid photoconductive composition in a layer on a support having a conductive surface.

Abstract: A light-sensitive organic photoconductorcontaining photoconductive composition for electrophotography is disclosed. The composition has greatly increased light sensitive created by the incorporation of a thiourea compound. The photoconductive composition may further contain a sensitizing dye capable of increasing the sensitivity of the organic photoconductor.

Abstract: A photoconductive composition and an electrophotographic light-sensitive material prepared using the photoconductive composition are described. The photoconductive composition comprises an organic photoconductive material and a urea compound, and may further contain a sensitizing dye capable of increasing the light sensitivity of the organic photoconductive material. The electrophotographic light-sensitive material comprises a support having an electrically conductive surface and a layer of the photoconductive composition, provided on the support. Typical urea compounds as used herein are represented by the general formula (I) or (II): ##STR1## (wherein all the symbols are described in the specification). The use of the urea compound increases the sensitivity of the organic photoconductive material making it possible to use the organic material in connection with the preparation of electrophotographic light-sensitive materials.
