Abstract: A fluid compressor has a sealed case, an electric motor section, and a compression section. Both sections are provided in the sealed case, with their axes extending substantially horizontally. The sealed case is filled with lubricant. At the start of the compressor, the rotational speed N of the electric motor section is gradually increased, but maintained at least once at a prescribed value for a predetermined period. At the stop of the compressor, the rotational speed N is gradually decreased, but maintained at least once at a prescribed value for a predetermined period.

Abstract: A garbage disposal for decomposing garbage with microorganisms. The garbage disposal has a tank containing a mixture of garbage, a medium having microorganisms, stirring means for stirring the mixture in the tank in order to supply air into the mixture, and control means for controlling water content percentage of the mixture. The control means controls a stirring of the mixture and/or a temperature of the mixture and/or an air volume blown on the mixture in order to keep water content percentage in a proper value at which the microorganisms are active and a lifetime of the medium is extended.

Abstract: Disclosed is an operation control system for a refrigerator which can prevent extreme change of the internal temperature by an extra method when abnormality occurs in its cooling state. This system judges whether the temperature change is abnormal or not, stops an operation control method based on temperature when the change is abnormal, and controls the operation of the refrigerator by another operation control method based on time in which the stop and the restart are repeated at predetermined intervals respectively.

Abstract: An electric refrigerator is disclosed which includes first and second coolers independently disposed in a freezer and a refrigeration chamber, respectively, a compressor for delivering a refrigerant therefrom, an electromagnetic valve for switching a refrigerant channel including the first and second coolers between a first referigerant flow path for supplying the refrigerant to only the first cooler and a second refrigerant flow path for supplying the refrigerant to both the first and second coolers, and a control circuit for causing the electromagnetic valve to form the first refrigerant flow path for a predetermined time interval and for causing the electromagnetic valve to form the second refrigerant flow path by preventing interruption of the compressor when the predetermined time interval has elapsed and an air temperature in the refrigeration chamber is higehr than a predetermined temperature.
