Abstract: A cord-winding device for a Venetian blind includes: a first reel; a driving unit including a driving wheel and a spring-winding wheel; and a brake unit including a driven gear, a driving member, a ratchet wheel sleeved on the driving member, a plurality of friction members disposed between the driving member and the ratchet wheel, and at least pawl biased to engage the ratchet wheel. When the driven gear is driven by the first reel to rotate in a direction, rotation of the ratchet wheel is stopped by the pawl so that the driving member drives the friction members to rotate, and when the driven gear is driven by the driving wheel to rotate in an opposite direction, the driving member drives rotation of the friction members and, thus, the ratchet wheel.

Abstract: A hollow built-in blind includes two glass plates, an annular spacer cooperating with the glass plates to define a receiving space, and a blind disposed in the receiving space and including a lower rail, a plurality of slats, and two pull cords connected to the lower rail. A transmission unit includes a transmission shaft, a winding mechanism disposed on the shaft, and a belt pulley fixed to one end of the shaft. A drive unit is located at one lateral end of the blind and includes a guide wheel spaced apart from the belt pulley, an internal control device operable to move upward and downward in the receiving space, and a timing belt looped over the belt pulley and the guide wheel and having two opposite ends connected to the internal control device to form a closed loop.

Abstract: A louver blade comprises a blade body and a reinforcing member. The blade body is made of a plastic material, includes a first end portion and a second end portion opposite to the first end portion along a first axis, and is provided with two pivot connecting portions. Each of the pivot connecting portions is disposed on the first axis at a corresponding one of the first and second end portions and is adapted for pivotal connection with a louver frame to ensure accurate alignment when mounting. The reinforcing member is made of a metal material, is embedded in the blade body, and has an H-shaped cross section to enhance the structural strength of the louver blade.

Abstract: A one-way damper unit of a pull cord device includes a unidirectional clutch that is disposed in a housing to form a liquid-filled gap therewith and that includes: a casing formed with deep and shallow groove portions; a main shaft having an insert segment extending into the casing and a connecting segment extending outwardly of the casing for connecting to a driven wheel; and a clutching member including a clutching body that extends into the groove and that has a cross-sectional dimension shorter than a distance between the insert segment and the deep groove portion, and longer than a distance between the insert segment and the shallow groove portion.

Abstract: A window blind component includes a stack of paper fiber sheets, and an adhesive bonding said paper fiber sheets together, each of said paper fiber sheets includes 91-95% by weight of paper pulp, 3-5% by weight of a binder, and 2-4% by weight of a water repellent. The adhesive includes an acrylate polymer, the binder includes ethylene glycol dimethyl acrylate polymer, and the water repellent includes an acrylic acid polymer. The window blind component is a blind slat, the number of the paper fiber sheets in the stack is 20-40, and each of the paper fiber sheets has a thickness ranging from 0.08-0.12 mm.

Abstract: A method of making a window blind component comprises: (a) preparing a plurality of paper fiber sheets; (b) applying an adhesive to each of the paper fiber sheets; (c) stacking the paper fiber sheets together with the adhesive to form a stack, followed by press forming the stack to produce a paper fiber composite material; (d) heating and drying the paper fiber composite material and cutting the same into a blank; and (e) forming the blank into the window blind component.
