Abstract: A dual-battery power management system and a method capable of automatically determining battery types and performing charging and discharging protection are provided. The system includes first and second battery modules, a bidirectional power converter, a voltage detection circuit and a processing circuit. The processing circuit is configured to: fully discharge the second battery module while charging the first battery module to obtain a battery capacity of the second battery module; using the first battery module to charge the second battery module according to a preset battery charging rate, and detect a voltage of the second battery module to obtain a first charging voltage change rate; determining a battery type of the second battery module according to a comparison table and the first charging voltage change rate; and controlling charging and discharging of the second battery module with a charging and discharging mechanism corresponding to the battery type.

Abstract: An adjusting method of an antenna of the outdoor wireless access point includes steps of A. moving the antenna in a predetermined pointing range, and obtaining received signal strength indications in multiple pointing directions at different time points; B. separating the pointing range into at least two sub-ranges, and averaging the received signal strength indications in all pointing directions in each sub-range; and C. moving the antenna pointing at the sub-range in which the average received signal strength indication is the highest and setting the sub-range as the next predetermined pointing range, and repeating the steps A to C until the step C is executed a predetermined times. Besides, the composition elements of the outer wireless access point are also disclosed.

The wireless network apparatus comprises a determining module used for outputting a first determining result when the wireless device is joining a multicast group and enables a power-saving mode thereof; a media queue module used for transmitting media information to the wireless device by either a direct-transmission mode or a deferred-transmission mode; and a control module used for controlling the media queue module to disable the deferred-transmission mode and enable the direct-transmission mode to transmit the media information to the wireless device based on the first determining result outputted by the determining module.

Abstract: A wireless network apparatus provides a wireless communication service for wireless devices through a first virtual access unit. The method comprises: (A) setting an upper-limit variable, a lower-limit variable, and a middle variable equaling a first outcome of computation according to a formula H; (B) setting a third program with its priority index equaling the middle variable; (C) setting the upper-limit variable equaling the middle variable and then the middle variable equaling a second outcome of computation according to the formula H, if the third program is run by the computer; otherwise, setting the lower-limit variable equaling the middle variable and then the middle variable equaling the second outcome; (D) repeating the steps (B) and (C), until the difference between the upper-limit or lower-limit variable and the middle variable satisfies a first predetermined value; and (E) outputting the value of the middle variable.
