  • Publication number: 20120092814
Abstract: An electronic device and a key supporting structure thereof are disclosed. The key supporting structure includes a main body, at least one operating key, and a supporting member. The main body includes an opening, within which the at least one operating key and a display device are located. The supporting member is located behind and corresponding to the at least one operating key for supporting the same. By providing the supporting member behind the operating key, the display device can be arranged to closely adjoin the operating key without the need of providing any frame structure between them while the electronic device can still have a structural strength satisfying product tests according to the relevant industry codes. Meanwhile, the display device can have the largest possible size on the electronic device.

  • Publication number: 20120090879
Abstract: The present invention discloses a flexible print circuit board bending method for connecting in a smart phone and a flexible print circuit board thereof. In the method, several portions of a flexible print circuit board is bend to suit multiple electronic units mounted on the front or rear casing of a smart phone. Consequently, there is only one surface of the flexible print circuit board needs to be processed to dispose connecting points, so cost of manufacturing the smart phone could be decreased. Besides, bending the flexible print circuit board to suit the electronic units could avoid space waste in the smart phone, such that helps to efficiently narrow down the scale of the smart phone.

  • Publication number: 20080048360
Abstract: A method for integrally forming a front shell of a mobile communication device. The method comprises the steps of: providing a first film with a pattern; putting the first film into a first female part; injecting a plastic material between a first male part and the first female part to form a compact bonding with the first film, thereby to form a first window lens; rotatably interchanging the first and second male parts therebetween to pair the first male part and the second female part and to pair the second male part and the first female part, thereby to move the first window lens with the first male part; manually or mechanically providing a second film in the first female part; simultaneously injecting the plastic material into each molding assembly, thereby to form the front shell by the molded plastic material between the first male part and the second female part and to form a second window lens between the second male part and the first female part; and removing the front shell.

  • Patent number: 7292459
Abstract: A handheld communication apparatus includes a metallic insert molding member, a circuit board and a shielding frame. The metallic insert molding member includes a metal plate. An electronic component is mounted on the circuit board. The shielding frame defines opposite first and second openings, wherein the shielding frame is bonded to the metal plate of the metallic insert molding member at the first opening, thereby forming a shielding case. The electronic component on the circuit board is inserted into the second opening of the shielding frame to be shielded by the shielding case.

  • Publication number: 20030198184
Abstract: The invention provides a method for a multimedia server to dynamically adjust the data rate that is streamed over an error-prone bandwidth-varying wireless network to a mobile multimedia client in a client-server architecture. The method enables multimedia applications to efficiently utilize the available (yet time-varying) wireless channel bandwidth and helps prevent interruption in the streaming due to client buffer underflow and packet loss due to network buffer overflow, hence significantly improving the multimedia streaming performance.
